AAA travel shows

I asked this under another thread but got no answers. I will try again. Has anyone ever gone to AAA's travel show and gotten a good deal? There is a huge AAA travel show in Foxboro Ma the weekend of March 3,4 and 5th. I was going to go and see if they have better deals at the show vs going to AAA travel center in town.

1. Did you call AAA and ask someone from AAA?
2. From my experience, the only difference is you may get a travel rebate certificate if you book a trip that day.

We went to the show in Foxboro last year. I didn't see any great deals (but was not looking to go to Disney at the time.) However, we had a great time there and chose to go to PEI last summer based on what we saw there. It is alot of fun and wish we could go this year but have other plans. Check it out!

By the way, if you are interested in cruises you will find a lot of info. They seemed to dominate the fair.

I attended one of these shows with my sister and checked the rates out of curiosity. (This was about 5 years ago.) I had already had our room booked so I could compare the rates. They offered the exact same rates that were available to the public. I think they had some type of promotional bag that they gave out if the trip was booked. I found the show to be more informational and was worthwhile to learn about different destinations.

Thanks all for answering. I kind of thought this was the deal. We have ressies but were hoping for a better deal. I think we will still go. It is a fun show to go to. DREAMS!! LOL.
