AAA Travel Agents Making ADR'S

Should I trust them with my adr's? I know my agent likely has lots of people she deals with on daily basis. How good are they at getting the reservations you want? She told me to email her my list but I'm not sure I want to. I planned on calling right at 7am. Would they do the same thing? I'd be so upset if I missed out on certain places cause she didn't get to it first thing. Anyone else use them and how did they do? TIA

You would have to ask your agent if they are willing to get up and be on the phone or do them online at 7am. Most AAA agents work in a regular office which most often doesn't open until 9 or 10am M-F, Some are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Alot of Disney specialists TA's (not counting AAA) do get up early to make their clients ADR's for them.

Ask your agent what she normally does about ADR's and if she will be calling right at opening or not. That will give you your answer on whether you should do them yourself or not.

Last trip I left it up to the AAA TA - she did it, but we had some odd dining times, and it didn't occur to me to call the ADR line myself and find out if they could be switched. I did not enjoy eating my dinner at 4:30pm.

This time (last Sunday), I was not willing to wait until our AAA TA was back at work on Tuesday to secure the ADRs that I wanted - I got up and did it myself at 7am and got nearly everything I wanted, and at "normal" dining hours.

In the future, I'll do it myself again.

Our AAA TA can make ressies online. I made them myself, but she said she is up routinely on her home computer early making ressies for people.

Ask when they will do it.
My AAA agent kept just saying "Oh, but I can take care of it all for you, it will be fine!" and kept sort of dancing around when she would call. My 90 day mark was memorial day and she was going to call Thursday when she got in to work (11am) So yes, I made mine myself instead of getting them 4 days later...
Then of course I found out we had this talk the same day last week a bunch of agents got to do reservations a week early, REALLY wish I had known that because all the early people booked things through my whole week being there.
She didn't know about it either but if yours won't call at 7am, I would do it myself.

Most agent's won't get up early because they only work during normal business hours. If they are busy with clients they can't call. Its usually at a time that is convenient for you. I only trust myself for getting me what I want.

I won't let them do mine again and I use them alot. My agent does not get into her office till 830 am most mornings and would not get in any earlier to do them.Also when there was an issue with times, she had to hang up with disney, call me run stuff by me, then call Disney back. Now things may improve with online booking, but i am still doing my own

my TA isn't with AAA but with one of the ones that is mentioned on the boards often that is with an agency that speciliazes in Disney travel.

I always have an email from her by 7:30am with my ADR information when she she does anything for me.

My wonderful AAA agent Danielle made each and every one of ours. She got everything we wanted at the times we wanted!!! She made them all on our 90 day mark. I couldn't have been happier especially after reading here on the DIS about hold times of over an hour and a half.

My AAA agent made mine as well. She go everything I wanted. Two of times she got were not what we wanted so I called the same evening and changed the times to earlier times.

I am a total control freak, and I was nervous having someone else do it, but with my schedule I was unable to call myself. I am sooooo glad I had her do it! It all worked out perfectly!
