AAA Special Rate - Worth it?

In my AAA magazine there is an ad that says that members can buy mulit day tickets to US at child prices. I am a major chicken, Pirates of the Carribean is almost too wild for me. Would there be enuff rides at US that I could ride to justify the price (reduced or not) and the trouble going from DW to US?

I am counting on you experts to help this not so ancient granny out.

I am the all time ride wussie and I love Universal! There are a lot of rides I like, plenty to see and do.

I have found that any ride that requires that I be belted in or anyway constrained is not for me. I will check out some sites and read the descriptions and maybe even find some videos like they have of the Disney rides and decide.

"ORLANDO, FL -- Universal Orlando is making AAA members of all ages feel like kids again during its “Pay Like a Kid, Play Like a Kid” promotion running Sept. 3 through Dec. 20, 2002. During this promotion, AAA members can experience the big kid thrills and excitement of Universal Orlando resort’s two dynamic theme parks — Universal Studios Floridaâ and Islands of AdventureSM — all at little kid prices.

The “Pay Like a Kid” price applies to Multi-Day Tickets, and with each adult ticket purchased at the kid price, AAA members receive a free party pass to CityWalk — Universal Orlando’s nighttime entertainment spot featuring themed restaurants, dance clubs, and a 20-screen movie theater. These specially priced “Pay Like a Kid” tickets are exclusively for AAA members and are available only at participating AAA offices throughout the United States".



It sounds like Dec. 20, 2002 would be the date it ends. I would call Universal or AAA to confirm.

I visited my local AAA office today, and they assured me that the tickets just had to be purchased on or before Dec. 20th, but the tickets could be used any time as follows (this I am copying directly from a ticket): Three (3) days of admission to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure any time within seven (7) consecutive days - including the first day of use. Park-to-park admission between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. City Walk Party Pass for seven consecutive nights - including the first day of use of any portion of the pass (not valid for separately ticketed concerts or special events).
