AAA perks

Are there any other perks to AAA than just the room discounts? I thought I read somewhere about a lounge at MK, and maybe preferred parking?

I believe the only way to get access to the lounge at MK or the preferred parking is by buying a package thru AAA, although some have reported being given the prefered parking pass by just buying tickets.

I guess it depends on who you deal with!

According to our local AAA website:

Guests can see all the new attractions and entertainment at the Walt Disney World Resort with the AAA Vacations Disney Month offer. AAA Vacations is offering 25 Disney Dollars with any package for 3-nights or more, booked between Jan. 1 - 31, 2005, for travel most nights between May 5 - Dec. 19, 2005.

AAA Vacations Walt Disney World Resort packages also include the following exclusive benefits for travel any time in 2005:

AAA Vacations Diamond Card savings and values
AAA VIP Lounge visit including a soft drink (voucher required)
AAA Diamond Parking at all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks (subject to availability, voucher required, block-out dates apply)

Hope this helps...

I called my AAA office about the new MYW tickets when I saw the big "announcement" in the AAA magazine. They are not being discounted like the current park hopper tickets are. So after Sunday, AAA will just get you a discounted room rate, I guess. Unless you book the package, then you'll get the perks like the above poster has listed. I was hoping that AAA would offer a discounted MYW package but my agent knew nothing about prices.

with the discount ticket brokers able to sell the new tickets - I think AAA will to - it is more complex than the others - so maybe the person you talked to as not been trained.

AAA also sometimes for a week or two after WDW makes the tickets more - generally doesn't.

So if you want a park hopper AAA might have some for a while.

Fort Wayne/Chicago AAA is suppose to be "trained" on the new MYW packages and discounts next week. My AAA agent is then going to call me. It is "rumored" that AAA package holders my get even more perks. If the rumors are true, It could be BIG! NO, I will NOT devulge what I have heard in case they are not true.

on our SEGWAY Tour in EPCOT. I believe we got 15% off the regular price.

We bought our tickets through AAA this past year but not a package and we did receive the parking pass for the diamond lot by just purchasing tickets. We did not receive the voucher for the lounge at MK by just purchasing tickets, however.

I spoke to my AAA agent today before I read this. I was debating buying PHP today for our October trip, or to just book a MYW package. I was told that if I booked a package (and it had to be a complete package of tickets, room and airfare) I would get $25 in Disney Dollars. However, I'd be charged a $5 per person fee for doing the package with AAA.

Just curious... are you a AAA member?

I work for AAA and we are selling the MYW tickets at a discount, we already have a price list.

Where can I find the AAA ticket price list? I've been checking weekly and just now and they don't show when I go to AAA.com.

Thanks!
Eric
