AAA Perks in the parks?

Does anyone have a link or anything to the benefits/perks of flashing your AAA card? I've read stuff on other boards, but the info seems dated (and since it's not on this board, unreliable ). I'm especially interested in the preferred parking areas at the park lots.

I didn't book my trip through AAA, but I will buy our admission tickets through them.

The AAA Diamond parking is the most beneficial in AK. Probably because it's the newest park and someone was thinking. Next is Epcot, you can park fairly close to the entrance compared to the regular lots. Hollywood Studios, I don't think it's to your advantage at all and same with MK. Just my honest opinion.

That being said, the only way this can work for you is if you are at the parks EARLY, ready to hit the parks at opening or before. The AAA parking is next to the handicapped parking and there are only so many spots and when they're gone, they're gone!

I believe the AAA lot is only for members who book their trip thru AAA. I have not heard of any benefits for "flashing your AAA card" at WDW.

It's good for a discount at World of Disney in Downtown Disney. 10% I think.

I believe it is good for 10% off at the restaurants at the Disney Dolphin Resort too.

If you are a AAA member and you buy your tickets through them you are able to get the parking pass. Just received mine yesterday!

If you flash your card in the Universal Studios hotels, parks and restaurants you will save 10-20% off (not sure how much). I don't think WDW offers that.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I got a great rate on a room at the GF, for August, by asking if they had any AAA rates available.
