My husband and I will be going to Disney June 13-22. We will be staying 10 nights in a preferred view room at All Star Movies. We want the dining plan and 10 day park hopper tickets.

I was finally able to get a decent rate through AAA. They quoted me $2409 for the room-ticket-meal package. I also checked Dreams Unlimited and they quoted me $2536. Obviously, AAA is cheaper, but we don't have a membership so by the time we buy that the savings is roughly $50.

My worry is that a code will come out that will decrease our price - not that that's a bad thing :) My concern is that we'll already have it booked through AAA and will lose out on savings. I know that Dreams Unlimited will change the price if any deals come out, but what about AAA? If a code comes out can they change my reservation?

Given the two options what do you think would be best? Thanks for any suggestions you can give!

We are really excited to finally be able to book this trip! I think it will make it feel that much more real :goodvibes

I recommend Dreams, but they cannot book the AAA packages for you, just the room only reservations

You can book with AAA and have the membership which is worth a lot by itself and the AAA extras you get with their package, AND if a code comes out for your time period you call AAA and they call Disney and apply the code saying you the extra I did it last week.

Thanks for your help!

I think I will book through AAA if a future code can be applied. Plus, I'm not too good at changing a tire so it certainly won't hurt to have AAA!!!

Thanks again!!!

We also just booked our Feb. 2008 trip through AAA, and my agent assured me that he will notify me of any deals/codes/ whatever and apply them to our rate. I hope that's truly the case!

Personally in the case of AAA agents, I would not trust to leave it to them I would check for myself and then call and let them know if I found something.
My agent with them for 20 years had no clue what I was talking about last week when I called and asked him to apply the code, which I gave him by the way. Never heard of such a thing. He did call and got it though.pirate:

Believe me, I'll be the first to call my AAA agent as soon as I hear of any offers! I'm from the school of, "If you want something done right, do it yourself!" ;)
