I've used this same AAA agent for our last two Disney vacations (in 2006 and 2007). So I called her to get a quote for August 2008, 8 nights at the Polynesian for DH, me, and the kids.
She comes back with just $200 less than Disney direct for the package including tickets (hoppers, no water parks) and the DDP.
If I'm doing my math correctly, 8 nights at the Poly in value season (August it is) would be about $400 off, if we're assuming rack rate ($340 a night) and the 15% off deluxes the AAA gives you. The last two years, I saved about $400 for our stays at the Poly, and we should again if I'm doing things correctly.
I called CRO and there was no code with my name--or I'd be jumping at that.
I told her no insurance, so that would not apply. I'm thinking she added the water parks or something by mistake? I'm now wondering if I should call another AAA agent or bug this one again (and I HATE bugging people like this). If I'm wrong on my numbers, I guess I'm wrong, but does it sound wrong?
