I'm going to Disney Friday. Me and my two friends have free tickets from a family member who works for Disney. My other two friends have decided to go, we decided, instead of making them both pay full price, we would all chip in and our admission would be like 20 bucks a person.

According to the Magic Your Way tickets... A 1 day Park hopper is like 100.00.
According to AAAsouth.com AAA tickets are 59.75 for a 1 day park hopper.

Is this for real? It says you have to go exchange the ticket for the hopper once you get there. Are they gonna charge you 40 bucks at that point?

I plan on printing it out and going down to AAA and buying them. And raising heck if they charge me more, or its a different deal.

Anybody have any clue whats going on?

Not totally sure, but I think AAA didn't update the prices?? I can't see that much of a difference... Call AAA and find out. They may still have some of the older ones & if so, then that is the price.. and Disney has to honor the ticket!! Call tomorrow & if they are...grab them :smooth:

Mousesavers says this:

Discounted Magic Your Way Tickets

Florida residents can choose from three savings options on the Magic Your Way Tickets:

*
A third day free with the purchase of a two-day ticket (and this ticket doesn't expire until 6 months after first use).
*
Or 10 percent savings on a one-day base ticket.
*
Or free "Park Hopper" option added to a full-price one-day ticket.
And the price is:
Magic Your Way Base Ticket
(gate price for admission to one theme park per day, including tax)
# Days

Adult (ages 10 and up)

$63.63
Child (ages 3-9)

$51.12

with an add on of:Park Hopper Option - Adding the Park-Hopper Option lets you come and go as you please through all four Disney theme parks on the same day or every day for each day of your pass. Extra cost on top of the base-price ticket is a flat rate of $35 ($37.28 with tax).

....so, my thoughts are this: Either the ticket is not a park hopper or they've made a big mistake. A 10% savings would be $6.36 off the $63.63 and then add the $37.28 so a price of around $100(didn't add) sounds about right.

Ooops, just read what I cut and pasted from Mousesavers....it pays to read before you post. The FL Residents get the park hopper option added for free so you should be able to get that exact deal from Disney or AAA or wherever as that is standard...forget about the 10% off nonsense, too complicated!

Edited to add: I meant that I should read before I post, not the OP, sorry if that sounded rude  .

The Florida Resident 1 day/1park ticket is $53.75+tax. A Florida Resident 1 day PARK HOPPER is $59.75+tax.

For NON-Florida Resident...a 1 day HOPPER is $94.75+tax ($59.75 Base MYW + $35.00 for the Hopper option)

thanks so much for the info. I researched and realized i wasnt reading FL resident disco page. Called disney to confirm and everything is fine! yay for being a FL resident!
