I know that Disney ended their partnership with AAA about 4 years ago. Are there any AAA exclusive advantages at Disney Parks or Cruise at all anymore?

It's been a while since my wife & I were at WDW, but we had some really nice AAA benefits. The Diamond parking sure made things easier. But we also had something like Magical Moments with points that could be used for various things. We used them for really nice dinners, figurines, a Circ de Soleil performance in what was Downtown Disney, and I was even able to redeem points to go parasailing.

I've been a AAA member for almost 40 years, so I'll continue to be one. But it would be nice if I, as a AAA member, had some special advantages with Disney.

Seems like a question to ask of AAA.

Unfortunately there are no AAA perks. I still book with my AAA agent because it saves me time if she handles the booking and payments. Also whenever she gets promotional items from Disney she passes them on to me. She's the best!

AAA still sells discounted park tickets. I haven't booked a package through them, so I don't know if any other benefits are still available for parks or cruises.

True, but not much of a discount. You can save more buying Disney gift cards through Target/Sam's Club, etc. = about 5%. We had the same experience as DCLPrincess using them as a travel agent to book the cruise though - very easy and explained everything to us really well.

I use my AAA travel agent but I do most of the leg work and have her match or do better when I booked for the parks. When I booked our cruise we didn't receive any perks that I can recall....

When booking a cruise the best deal is to book while on board. You can transfer the reservation to your TA and then they can handle any payments and such. The AAA agents still get credit for the booking.

I use Affordable Tours as a travel agent because they discount off the top, rather than an on-board credit. If I like the cruise a lot, I will book a placeholder and probably transfer it to Dreams Unlimited for their OBC....or maybe Costco Travel (haven't decided if I want to join Costco yet)

I would be very skeptical of this. DCL does not allow anyone to sell their cruises at a price lower than the price listed on the website. I'd worry that they are marking the fare up with fees and then discounting it back to the actual price.

The original price is listed as the same price as the website. They just give part of their commission to the customer as a "discount"

Just be aware that, often, such transferred bookings result in a lower level of perks than using the TA to book directly. Except for Costco.
