I booked 2 rooms at POP Friday night for a 12/10-12/18 stay. The AAA rate was $61. Rack rate was $77, so a savings of slightly more than 20%. Funny thing is I contacted AAA first, and they told me the room would be $77 per night.
While on the phone with CRO I asked about rooms at the WL for 7/17-7/23 for someone else. The AAA rate was $169. Rack rate was $199, so a savings of 15%.
I have been told (four times so far, but I'm going to keep calling) that there is no AAA discount for our standard room at WL during the first week of December. I booked rack rates and am on AP discount watch, but I hope to get the AAA discount applied at some point.
15% off our sept 05 stay at the Poly GV. Rack rate $304....w/discount $258. Once you add taxes, its $287...still hoping for a room only code too though.
For Nov. 27 - Dec. 4, we have a MYW package + dining (7 day tickets w/hopper) for 2 adults at WL, woods view - booked through AAA for $2,493.02 total - ends up being $195.50/tx per night with the discount. Plus we booked during the AAA January promo which gave us $25 Disney Dollars.
We are going 8/24-9/4 and since it falls in two different seasons I made two bookings. 8/24-8/28 regular season with AAA discount of 15% I got for $84/night. Second ressie 8/28-9/4 I booked with AAA discount of 20% for $61/night.
We are staying at the PC from 6/26 to 7/2 and the AAA rate we received was $84 a nite as opposed to $99. So I saved $15 a nite. this was just for room ressie only.
are aaa discounts limited or are you guaranteed to get one if you are a member? we usually get ap discounts so i didn't know about this. now i'm wondering if i should call and tell them i'm an aaa member while i'm waiting for ap codes.
When I called there were only so many AAA rooms available at certain resorts. Nothing except conceirge at CR. I was able to get 15% off WL for July with AAA. I have an AP and the CM said to call back when the AP discounts come out. About two years ago we were able to get an AP discount of $114 for the WL in July--hope to get something similar again.
I needed to reserve a room for an extra night after our land sea package. I called and asked for the All Star Movie rate . Without AAA rate it was 124.00 a night with the rate it was 104.00 including tax. We are staying this April. Every little bit of savings helps. It never hurts to ask. Lisa
