AAA Discounts Amount: Also Posted on Resorts Thread

I am considering getting a AAA Membership. Can anyone advise how much of a discount I can expect? Any information about AAA and Disney will be appreciated.

The discount is between 10 and 20 percent based on resort and time of year. These discounts are available most of the year, but there are a limited number of them, so it is possible that the resort you want could have used up all the available discounts.
If you want a room only reservation, you can make it by calling disney directly and telling them you want a AAA room only rate for the resort. If it is available, you can book it. If you want a package with the AAA discount on the room portion of the reservation, then you need to go through a AAA travel agent.
If there is some special package deal that disney is offering, like free dining, then you will not be able to also get a AAA discount on the room portion of the package. Only one discount per package.

As PP the dicounts are between 10-20%..the deepest dicounts to be had are usually offered in Jan. which is AAA's disney month.I actually got 30% off the Beach Club villas by booking during Jan for this Sept.

I was offered a 15% AAA discount on a room at the Boardwalk Inn for this July and a 20% discount on a studio at the Boardwalk Villas.
