I know that some of the Disney offers are 40% off room & Free dining and that you cannot use them together.

As the AAA discount is booked through the AAA, seperate from Disney, would you still be able to use a Disney offer aswell.

I kinda think the answer would be no but I just wanted to check. Thanks!

Our AAA advertises the free dining, and when i traveled through a DreamsUnlimited agent in may we were still able to use a PIN code for 40% off but you should just call AAA and ask.

I can't wait to get the answer to this....

Oooh why? Is it a popcorn:: answer? :p

I'm just curious because when I booked ours (we're already back) the CM said they could not input more than one of the current disney offers .... and an AAA one isn't a Disney one.

No. You cannot "stack" discounts. It's either the AAA or a special Disney offer, but not both. So, for example, you cannot have a AAA discount and free dining; it's one or the other. You decide which works better for you.

snykymom is correct. You cannot stack discounts. You must choose which one works best for you because the best discount depends on which resort you are staying at, how many people are in your party, and the ages of those traveling (child vs. junior vs. adult).

There are some offers for European travelers that allow for both a room discount and free dining, but I've never seen an offer that combines discounts for US residents.

When I went to AAA to ask about Free dining, she said the normal AAA discount % would still apply along with the free dining but I had to book through AAA not Disney. :confused3 Turned out we couldn't go so I never booked it, so I don't know if that's true or not, but she was quite positive.

She was also quite mistaken. You do need to book through AAA in order to book a package with the AAA discount, but you would not have been able to combine the AAA room discount with the free dining promotion.

No I think she meant you get the AAA package discount with the Free Dining which includes room and tix. I didn't question about room only discounts.

I believe you can get both discounts because Last time I booked through AAA I found out that the AAA discount is just like the rack rate you pay but through AAA so the percentage off is not a code so you can then apply the code that disney releases. I may be wrong but I really think that is how it works.

The AAA package discount is still just a % discount off the room rate. There is no discount to the dining plan and tickets. And you cannot combine the AAA discount and any other discount.

I have to disagree as the previous post mentioned she got the AAA discount and free dining. The AAA discount is a standing offer, it's not a code. When free dining comes out, they just add it on to your AAA package. It's not code stacking.

Incorrect. AAA can add free dining to your package. But then they would have to take away your AAA room discount. You can't keep the discounted room rate, if you are getting free dining.
You can still get the "AAA package" which has a few tiny inclusions, like VIP parking and a storybook time.

Each day I am finding you a mind of information - thank you! :)

My TA told me there was no AAA room discount! Now we only have 2 days at a resort, does that affect the availability of a discount?

If already booked through Disney website - can I add the AAA discount? Not a member - but we are going in Oct with no discount, not even free dining due to our week - I'm wondering how it would work out if I became AAA member in order to get the discount? (If that makes sense!)

It depends on the availability. Like other promos, there's only a certain number of rooms available for a AAA discount. Also, you can only book a room only reservation with the AAA discount through WDW direct. If you want to book a package with the AAA discount, you must use a AAA travel agent.

If you have a room only reservation, go ahead and call WDW CRO and ask if there are any AAA discounts available. If so, they can apply that to your reservation. But they do need a AAA membership number to book you with the discount. If you have a package booked, then call your local AAA travel agency. They should check on availability for you, then you can join if you want.

Is your TA a AAA agent? Non-AAA agents may not be able to apply a AAA discount (and certainly cannot if it's a package). AAA discounts are not offered all year, so it might depend on when you're going. And as noted above, it depends on availability - there may not be any discounted rooms left for your resort, room type or dates of travel.

The fact that you're staying only for 2 days (1 night? 2 nights?) is irrelevant.

Thanks! I called and nothing is available for the time we'll be there...BUT this is great info for when we visit next year! Thank you!!
