AAA discount with Hertz

I have a question regarding the AAA discount with Hertz. How do I get a price quote with the AAA discount on Hetz's website? I have tried to enter in my AAA number in the Discount plan number field but it will not take. Can anyone shed any light on this???? Thanks.

On your member card there is a chapter number, that is what you enter. Hope this helps.

It is a 3 digit number to the left of your membership number. AAA discount is very good with Hertz. Also look if you are renting for a week or so for the free tank of gas offer.

When entering codes for special check it both ways, with the PC coupon code and without. Some of the coupons make the rental more expensive before they take off the coupon.

Also try getting a quote from the AAA site also along with the Hertz site. Sometimes it is a little cheaper on the AAA site.

Another great thing about renting through Hertz with the AAA code is that your spouse and all other AAA members can be added as free additional drivers!

Of course, the bad thinfg about Hertz at MCO is that it is off-site, not at the airport like Avis, National, Alamo etc.

We used to use National and found it took us longer to get all our stuff over there, wander the EA to find a car, then go to check out. At Hertz there is never a long wait on the shuttle, and I can be driving out of the lot in less than 10 mins. When it is time to return home I do curbside check in and then return the car. I am back at the airport in less than 20 mins.

I have used Hertz at MCO 7 times in the last year and recommend it highly.

It is a myth that you only save time by renting on site.
