Is there a AAA discount offered on 5 day hoppers? If so how much are they and do you have to get them at a AAA office?
Thanks!

Yes AAA offers a discount on five day hoppers. Not sure how much it is. It's a small discount, but every little bit helps. You have to get them at a AAA office.

We got our passes for 2000 at the AAA office at a small discount, but every dollar saved is good. I don't know if they still do this but I asked for a parking pass for upclose parking to the parks. It is by the handicaped section. It was a real treat at the time the kids were using strollers, so that was much easier for us to drive to the parks. I think it is called diamond card.

We are going in Aug this year and I will ask again if they have it.
You can also get a discount on your room only reservation if you made it thru WDTC or CRO. Just call them and ask for the AAA discount they will need your membership number and your card at check in.

I think the prices are just a few dollars less than pre-purchasing from Disney/Disney store. I have not confirmed, but heard that hoppers from the Disney store are cards, but ones from AAA are paper... don't know if that makes a difference.

We used AAA to purchase our 5 day hoppers in March. The discount wasn't huge but I was more comfortable using them then some of the other ticket discounters, I'm chicken about that stuff!
Also, the type of pass/hopper offered by AAA varies by state. Before we went, there was a thread here about it and it was interesting to see what state offered which for how much! I don't recall if you can purchase in another state if you don't live there (say you were driving from NY to Florida and wanted to stop in VA to buy passes...) worth looking into though.

Have fun!!

We got 5-day hopper passes last year from AAA and the discount was 5%. Not a lot but enough to make it worth our time. This year we are getting 6 day hoppers and plan to go the same route unless the extend the fairy tale package to include our time of travel.

We bought our 6 day plus tickets at AAA. Not, only do they vary by state, but also by region, and sometimes even different branches carry different types. This was according to our local offfice. I drove about 15 minutes further to get the 6 day, rather than the 5 day.

When we checked in I aquired about getting our park hoppers put on our room keys. When the CM plugged in the numbers, she stated quote "Man you got a good deal" This made me feel pretty good.

Definately EVERY $$ counts.

Hope this helps.:D

Apparently not every AAA--at 2 offices in Southern California, they didn't know what I was talking about and denied ever having heard that AAA sold tickets to any Disney theme parks. They said I could buy a hotel package, but that was it. Feh.

We live in Indiana and got our tickets at AAA. They were the same price as the disney store tickets, but the parking pass was really nice to have. You were able to park up by the handicap section at the parks so it was right up by the front gate. That was a real perk on these rainy 97 degree days!
