AAA Discount Islands Dining Room?

Does anyone know if you can get a AAA discount on the buffet breakfast at the Islands Dining Room at RPR? Does anyone know if there is a list of restaurants at Universal that offer a AAA discount? Thanks!

I usually use my AP or coupons as they have been better than both last year for restaurants.
Islands, i could not say if you get discounts with AAA, but i do not think you can use the AP at this restaurant for discount, so woild imagine you will not get AAA either

No Islands Dining room does not except AAA card
Every citywalk restaurant does except Emrils, Bubba Gumps and I don't know if the other hotels do or not but I know Islands and Jakes a RPR does not

In the past we always got a AAA discount at Hard Rock Cafe.

The hotel restaurants do not give the AAA discounts. Restaurants in the park give the discount and most of the City Walk restaurants except the ones already mentioned give the discount. A lot of the vendor carts in the parks also give the discount.

on my last trip in october, i ate at the islands at rph 4 times.
they do give you a discount ....
but you have to ask for it.

i can't remember if it is the AAA card or the AP card that i used there.
if i can take the time to find my past receipts, i can come back and tell you which card is valid for the 10% discount there.

Thanks Mac, i always showed my AP , but they did not take it as they said there was no discount, so will hopefully be ready with it this year.
Have used voucher for free Glass of wine or beer with our meal, better than nothing

you have to tell the waiter when you order that you want the discount as you have the card.

it is 10% off the costs.

one day they forgot to give me the discount and i had to wait 15 minutes for them to change the check........

i waited.
i can play the same game.....

I always use my AP to get 10% off in Islands dinning room. You have to tell them they will not ask. After about the 2nd morning I don't need to show it since they get to know you. I know Jakes does not accept it.

since bluer stated he has used his ap for that discount, then i assume that was the one they honored at the island dining room for me last october.

i know it was one or the other card.

and he is so right.
if you do not tell them from the start, they will give you a difficult time later.

I saw a coupon for Islands as well $10 off when you order 2 entrees, which could work quite well, as we dont usually have starters , maybe a desert, but the portions are quite big at Islands i usually cannot eat desert either
