AAA Discount for Contemporary Tower Room

Did anyone get a AAA discount for a tower room at The Contemporary? I can get a garden view at the AAA discount, but not a tower room. My DS really wants to stay in the tower, but I am not sure the extra $500 for 4 nights is worth it.

We didn't book a tower room. I don't see the need to spend the additional funds to avoid a 5 minute walk. We won't be in the room long enough to worry about the view, or lack thereof. We did just book a few days ago and the rate was $239 a night with two adults and with tax, I think it was $258 a night in mid-December, while it's still Value Season.

We will be there July 20 and YES we did get the AAA rate ! We are paying 365.50 w/out tax a night , I know it is more then the wing rooms , if you have ever stayed in the tower MK side it is the BEST set in the house to watch the fireworks at night and yes you can here the music too! If you can swing it , I would do it ! Marla

I just booked mine through AAA for September 2009. I got the discount for the MK View room. I'm not sure what the price of the room ended up being because I got a whole package. But, for 8 nights with 9 day tickets with hopper, waterparks, and the dining plan it was ~$4600. This was $700 less than what Disney quoted me for the same package This was for 2 adults
