AAA Diamond Parking Pass

I just got off the phone with AAA Georgia and the lady has no idea what a AAA Diamond Parking Pass is. Can anyone please give me a detailed description of the pass. Is it a credit card sized card or is it a windshield placard that goes on your dash?

I want to call them and say "it's 6"x6" or 3"x3" or credit card sized. I'm so frustrated trying to describe the pass so she can tell me what package is required to obtain one.

I was just told by my AAA agent (yesterday, when I booked) that the diamond pass was included. I have no idea about the size, etc.. I will be very upset if this is no longer valid....it was a strong perk for booking with AAA vs waiting on a code.

We just got our tickets last week for our trip tomorrow and the AAA parking passes are in the packet!

I just got one...they are about Disney Dollar sized (where is MY brain?)...since I don't have it sitting in front of me, I would say about 3 inches by 5 inches.

Do we now have to turn it over to the parking booth each day? If so, I need to go get more!

No you don't give it up to the parking attendant. You show that to them along with the money when you pay and they will advise you which colored line to follow that is on the road to the AAA parking lot. We loved using ours

momof4...we got ours just by asking at our AAA office (yes, we are members). It gets you MUCH closer parking (ie, right next to the handicapped parking).

They didn't do away with them...we used one a few weeks ago on our 1/11 to 1/17 trip. We really enjoyed being able to park a lot closer to the front of the parks than where we've parked in the past. At MK, we were right next to the handicapped spots and didn't need to take a tram which was nice. A couple times when we got to the parks at openings, we just parked up front in normal parking because they were just as close as the AAA ones.

The AAA VIP lounge is in Tomorrowland past Buzz Lightyear's ride and the stage (not sure of the actual stage's name). You can redeem your soda voucher for a can of soda (Coke products) and use their bathrooms (they're clean!)

The Diamond Parking pass has not been gotten away with. If your AAA rep in Geprgia has NO idea what you are talking about, then you need to talk to a different rep. I had one last year and I have already talked to my rep about it this year. That is one of the perks of booking with AAA.

Try the AAA office in Marietta,GA at the corner of Roswell and Provedence Rd. They gave us our 2006 AAA diamond parking pass a few weeks ago, but there is a minimum ticket purchase with it.

We found on our December trip that the Diamond Parking worked best at EPCOT & MGM. We seemed to get a lot of attitude at AK whenever we tried to use it...

As for MK, we always seem to have early breakfast at CP, so we haven't needed it. We wind up parking in the front row and walking across the street and under the bridge to the TTC.

It is a great perk to have, however, along with the 10% off at World of Disney. 10% isn't a huge amount, but it's still 10%.
