Just plugged in my dates for Royal Pacific, and AAA is coming up 5 dollars more than the rate I got through the Loew's website. Has anyone done the 110% best rate guarantee through AAA? How does it work? Thanks for any help!

I can't speak to the 110 percent guarantee, but don't buy Universal tickets thru AAA. They have a "special" buy two/get the third day free offer going. Meanwhile undercovertourist.com has a four day park hopper for one dollar more with tax and shipped to your home.

I had to go check out the AAA website when I saw your post cause I just called Universal reservations line today during my lunch for estimated on my June trip. The rates on the website were WAY higher than what I was quoted today on the phone. $20-$30 higher per night for a AAA discounted room :confused3

Yes, I have found that too.

I'm not sure about the 110% guarantee, but my AAA agent charges $50 to make vacation arrangements. So it might end up costing you more if you go with AAA even with the 110% guarantee if they charge you a fee. It would depend on the price difference and number of nights, etc.

Just wanted to give you a heads up.

My AAA site shows:
Four Day, Park Hopper Pass
Gives unlimited admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for four days within a 14-day period. Allows admission to both parks on the same day. Gives admission for 14 consecutive days to the paid entertainment venues of City Walk. Does NOT include admission to the AMC Universal Cineplex 20, Blue Man Group or separately ticketed entertainment events in the parks or City Walk. There is no expiration date until the first day is used.
AAA Member Price
Adult - $141.29 ($13.12 savings)
Child (3-9) - $124.72 ($11.59 savings)

I was planning on calling today to make sure it includes any taxes. A two day P2P adult ticket, with tax is $145.92 on Universal's site.

And Undercover Tourist prices for the 4 day P2P tickets are $142.95 and $142.93.

I didn't see a Buy 2, Get 3 deal listed on Universal's site. Where is that advertised?

I just checked for my dates on the AAA website and it is the same price that I got through Universal website. No 110% guarantee for me.

What? So much for "member benefits"!! :sad2:

Only some agencies do this. The one by me only charges a fee if you buy only airline tickets. If you book a package, they earn commission so then there is no fee. And we also have two different "clubs" in our area - one sells Disney tickets and the other doesn't.

So it depends on the agency.

I confirmed with AAA that their prices have no additional tax on them. UT's MouseSavers rates are less than a dollar less than AAA's price.
