A - Z Mysteries... what age are they for?

Amazon keeps recommending them to me, I guess because i bought books for my kids there. One of them wants to be a detective, she says. But she has tested as being on a 7th grade reading level even though she is in 4th grade.

Looking at the covers of the books, they seem to young for her. What is the age group for reading these books?

If I remember correctly, they are very easy books similar to Magic Tree House. I remember my one son reading them in 1st and 2nd grades.

ETA: I just looked them up on Scholastic. The grade level equivalent for them ranges from 2.3 to 3.4.

My son is in 2nd grade reading them... Begining chapter books..

1-3rd grade. Beginner chapter books.

A 4th grader may like the story but I don't think they are the target audience.

For a 4th grader, I would look into Nancy Drew if you are interested in getting a mystery series.
