a year today

A year to day we will be heading out on our first ever Disney cruise

no one knows about it only you lot as it is a surprize for the family

so i am going to do a year dance
and then put it to the back of my mind
and try and get back on with living in the day

Are you on the 3 night Wonder from 9th Nov? If so, that's the same cruise as we are on for a couple of days getaway after our wedding!

No we will be back home by then we are on the 3 night Wonder on the 26th of Oct

We are on the Wonder on the 5th Nov. So when we get off you will be getting on. I never cruised before but I hear that the Disney cruise is fantstic but highly addictive. I also read that the disembarkation meeting is at 5.30am in the morning and all non US citizens must attend before anybody is allowed off. Told DH about this thinking he wouldn't be hapy but he had no problem with it.

you all are going to have a GREAT time....
we've done both the 3 day and 4 day Wonder and had a wonderful time on both cruises..
as for having to get up early for immigration, it's not really that much earlier than everyone else....
everyone has to be off the ship by something like 8:30....there are two early morning breakfasts before that time, so really everyone has to be up very early to get off...
and you have to have your suitcases completely packed the night before (you have to leave them outside your door by 10 or 11 PM...so you're pretty much all done...

and you are right....the cruise is definitely addictive...very much so....
my son especially had a phenomenal time...on the first cruise he was 15 years old and on our second , he was 17.....so both times he was in the teen group.....it was amazing how great a time he had.....he was with the teen group from the morning until their activities ended late at night...he only ate with us and went to the evening performance with us....the rest of the time he was with the teen group.....
