You're almost there! Yeah our room had such a nice view!

Garden Grove was very yummy! This was the first time we ate there, so we haven't tried the other themed nights yet! Ours was Mediterranean.

Day 9:

We took lots of pictures these next couple days because our trip was winding down, and we really wanted to make sure we captured everything! So bare with me on the pics haha!

We woke up around 9:00 and had breakfast in the lounge- consisting of bagels and cinnamon rolls and fruit. We lazed around the pool for a while, and I actually brought my camera this time!! We were visited by ducks who also wanted a dip in the water!!

At about noon, we went back to the lounge for some snacks. We had chips and salsa, goldfish, and iced tea- I wish I’d taken pictures of these things!! We decided to go easy today on the parks and meals since we were pretty tired (and FULL) from the past week! Today would be a picture-taking and relaxing day until we went to MK that evening. Mom and I explored the resort taking some really pretty pictures!

At 6:00pm, we went to the boat launch to MK.

On the boat, my parents were trying to figure out which island was Discovery Island. I don’t think they came up with a final answer!

MK was VERY crowded!!! There were a lot of Brazilians again, so it made it difficult to move around! Luckily we had already done a lot in MK yesterday!! We first went on TTA in Tomorrowland because we love that ride so much!!

What's also really cool about the Poly are the sounds. When you're on the beach, you can hear the boat coming from MK, the train coming into the station at MK, and the Polynesian music piped in around the resort. Laying in a hammock with the warm breezes and these sounds around you, it really is a slice of heaven! Wish we were there right now!!!

When I left off, we were heading over to ride the TTA

We checked the wait time for Space Mountain but it said “TST” and was not running, so we asked a CM what it meant, but he had no idea.

On the way across the park, we saw a rainbow over Tomorrowland!!

We went into Frontierland and stopped at the shooting gallery which we’d never done before. It was a lot of fun, and we decided to continue into Frontierland when we saw Country Bear Jamboree’s next show was starting in a couple minutes. We’ve usually avoided this show because we’ve never really enjoyed it, but we decided to go, and we actually had some fun!! We giggled at some of the characters and their lines because they reminded us of some interesting characters we knew at home!

We decided to hop on the boat to head back to the resort for desserts in the lounge. On the way back we tried to snap some pictures of the monorail and the Poly from the boat.

In the lounge there were brownies, cookies, and lime cheesecake mousse, but I was hungry for a meal since we hadn’t had anything to eat since our snacks before MK. So mom and I went over to Capt. Cooks to pick up some food. I had the pulled pork sandwich- it was AMAZING!

Mom had grilled cheese, and that was pretty good too!

We were a bit hungry… we dug in before we could snap a picture!! After our meal, we went out onto the beach to get a spot to watch the fireworks. Sorry the firework pics aren’t great! I don’t have a very high-tech camera, and I videotaped the good parts anyway!

After the show, we hit the hay for an early day tomorrow!!

I've had Poly on my "wish list" of deluxe resorts to stay at. My list is currently: 1.) Boardwalk 2.) Beach Club 3.) Contemporary 4.) Poly 5.) AKL. I'm thinking I need to move Poly up after seeing your pictures & reading your mom's comments about all the sounds of the resorts. Seems very relaxing.

Those are great choices!!! We've stayed at BC, Contemporary and Poly, but not BW or AKL. You should def move the Poly up, it is amazingly relaxing. Especially during the day when everyone is at the parks!!! So lovely!!! That and the Dolphin are MY favorites!!!

Thank you! Yes Poly is definitely lovely! You've got a great list!! I really want to stay at the BC next time! That would be so nice! I love their pool too! AKL would also be really cool to stay at. I love how each resort has its own theming, and they take it to the extreme with all their own sounds! It's so awesome!

Day 10:

Mom woke up at about 5:30 and slipped outside to take pictures of the waking resort. From the beach she saw cue to cue lights on the castle, no doubt rehearsing that night’s Summer Nightastic show! She also said that there were a lot of ducks on the beach, but no people around except for CMs getting the pool ready. She said it was very peaceful and serene. She took lots of great pictures!

I woke up at 7:30 because today we’re doing the rope drop at DHS! Step dad stayed back at the resort, I think he was pretty maxed out on parks! We were on the bus by 8:30, and made it there in time to be smushed right in the middle of the crowd! Luckily being 6 feet tall, I can see over most people, so my mom made me lead the way during the TSM dash! There was a green army man patrolling the queue!

We got FPs for 10:20-11:20, and decided to head over to TOT which we were able to ride 2 times in a row without much wait! We were going to ride it again, but the wait was steadily increasing, so we decided not to. However, I did manage to record the entire ride on my little dinky digital camera! I was pretty proud of myself on that one too! Mom took some great pics of the queue while we waited!

We tried RNR but the line was far too long, so we decided to pass on it.

We took pictures of the pretty buildings and props, my favorite part of DHS! Mom couldn’t resist putting me on the suitcases! “Pretend you’re waiting for a bus!”

This happened a lot today- “Hey Emma, go stand over there so I can take your picture!” You’ll see what I mean!

We did, however, get to see a great street show! We never usually stop for these, but since it was just us, and we weren’t in a hurry, we decided to stop and watch. It was too funny! They had us laughing! The woman was great!
