A Year Late, But Worth The Wait!!

antnyh
That was our waiter!!! He was hilarious. At first I kept seeing people jump up in their seats, but I didn't see him. All the CM's were laughing. I finally saw him tickle a ladies ear....he got caught and put the straws up and waited for the next victims to come in. It was such a good experience.

No way really!!! That's awesome!!! It was so funny!!! :lmao:

Hahah, that guy was really funny! I'm just glad that our server wasn't too crazy! That fried chicken was sooooo good! Could use some of that right now! :goodvibes

Day 3:

We woke up late (we wanted to take it slow this trip and relax a lot!) and got ready to go to Epcot! We grabbed a bite to eat at Picabu (bagels for step dad and I and a cinammon bun for mom). :woohoo: We got on the boat at about 9:00 and headed over into Epcot through the back of the WS. I love this entrance! It’s like our own private entrance into the park!! We had ADRs at Tutto Italia for lunch at 11:30, and we had a couple of hours until we had to check in. We decided to go ride a couple rides and take a stroll around the park. On the way out of the WS, we stopped at the phone booths in the UK to take a pic! We called them a couple times before our trip, and it was so funny to play with the people on the other end! We actually called a girl on our trip, and it was so funny to watch her reaction! She was so startled when the phone rang, but sadly she wouldn’t play with us; she hung up! :lmao:
100_0721.jpg

We were on our way to Spaceship Earth. I love the futuristic atmosphere of Future World!! Hahahaha
100_0722.jpg

100_0734.jpg

On our way back around the world to lunch, we spotted a lonely Queen of Hearts! Of course it was necessary to get a picture with her.
100_0735.jpg

The park was surprisingly empty that morning, and mom snapped a few empty-park pictures!!
IMG_2746.jpg

IMG_2747.jpg

We found this cute donkey with some nice flowers that mom dragged me over to pose with! Tee hee!! :rotfl:
IMG_2748.jpg

We reached Italy, and it’s so pretty!! I love all of the details that Disney puts into their buildings!
100_0740.jpg

100_0741.jpg

100_0742.jpg

100_0743.jpg

100_0744.jpg

We were eating at Tutto Italia, and we were one of the first ones there; the restaurant hadn’t even opened yet!! We checked in and waited, and waited, and waited…until they finally opened the restaurant and brought us to our table. Since there was no one there, EVERY SINGE WAITER in the restaurant hovered around our table to make sure all of our waters were filled and extra plates cleared, and if we “were all set and if we needed anything else.” :rotfl: Haha it was a bit much, but the attention made us feel like royalty! :goodvibes They gave us bread and oil as a starter. :cool1:
100_0745.jpg

100_0746.jpg

Everything on the menu looked so good too! It was so hard to decide what to order. We ended up getting things to share.
I had the Caprese sandwich
100_0747.jpg

My mom had the Caesar Salad
100_0749.jpg

We shared the mozzarella pasta
100_0750.jpg

Step dad had lasagna
100_0751.jpg

As we were eating, a couple families trickled in, but one family came in to the restaurant, and of course, guess where they sat?...RIGHT NEXT TO US! Hahahaha it never fails: movie theaters, restaurants, etc. :rotfl: Obviously the waiters sat them there, but we still found it funny that out of the entire spacious restaurant, they put them at the table right behind us!
You can see it really well in this picture! The idle CM chilling in the background, the empty restaurant, and the family at the table right behind us. :rotfl:
100_0752.jpg

For dessert, I realized they had cannolis on the menu, and no matter how stuffed I was, I was getting a cannoli! And it was DELICIOUS!!!
100_0753.jpg

My parents were too full to order desert, but as I finished eating my yummy cannoli, we heard a loud OHHHHH!!!! And all of a sudden, a parade of CMs comes singing a song in Italian. :rotfl2: My mom and step dad were wearing their Anniversary pins, and I was wearing my celebration pin that I had to write graduation on (there was no specific “Graduation” one). Throughout the trip they were CONSTANTLY getting “Happy Anniversary!” from absolutely EVERYONE!!! And me? Nope! I did not get a single “Congratulations” from anyone! Hahahaha we would joke that every time someone would walk by and say “Happy Anniversary” to my parents, I would turn around after them and be like “WHAT ABOUT ME????” Of course I didn’t say it loudly, just loud enough for my parents to hear. :lmao: It was funny, but soooo frustrating! I figure that a lot of people celebrate graduations at WDW, so why not make a graduation pin?? :sad2: ANYWAY, sorry about my little rant! Now back to the story!! So we were sitting there and the parade of CMs with a little truffle with 2 candles in it!
100_0754.jpg

It was so cute, but soooo embarrassing!!! And of course the place had to be filling up at that time, so everyone stopped eating to turn and gawk at the goofy family laughing so hard they have tears! That made us laugh even more!! Then when we were leaving, a man at a table said “Happy Birthday!” to my mom!! I DIED!!!! :rotfl2: We finally made it out of the restaurant, all giggly and messy and decided to explore Italy a bit more while letting ourselves calm down.

We continued on to the African Trading Post, and my mom bought a shirt from the FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

We continued on to China and took TONS of pictures of the beautiful architecture!

100_0841.jpg

Ahh, such a pretty view! OOH! I see our home!!! YAY Dolphin!
100_0846.jpg

Next stop was Mexico, but we needed a potty break, so I waited with the purses and I listened to a savvy Mexican band!

We ended up sitting on the fountain, trying to take a picture of the three of us! It took several tries, but I think we (kind of) did it!
100_0893.jpg

I even tried on a sweet hat!!
100_0898.jpg

We left the WS and headed into Future World!!.. but not before stopping in MouseGears!
100_0905.jpg

But finally it was time for Future World!!!!- still a very empty park!
IMG_2763.jpg

100_0907.jpg

It was hot that day, so we decided to pop in to Club Cool to get a cool refreshing drink!
100_0908.jpg

Snow White must have had the same idea!!
100_0909.jpg

We stepped into the refrigerator of a room and tried all of the different types of Coca-cola products from around the world!
100_0910.jpg

100_0911.jpg

We continued walking along Future World, snapping pics of places we’ll visit later in the trip!
100_0912.jpg

100_0913.jpg

However, we did stop to ride Nemo and Friends!

100_0916.jpg

Just kidding! It was pretend!! :goodvibes
100_0917.jpg

After that, we headed to The Land to get a Coke and fruit. I didn’t get any pictures of the food, but I did get some of the building!
100_0918.jpg

100_0919.jpg

After our snack, we were tired, and I really wanted to go swimming! We decided to head back, and hang out in the resort for the night! Step dad read/napped in the room while mom and I headed out to the pool! After filling up our refillable resort mugs with Orange Fanta for me and Coke for mom, we stepped out into the blazingly beautiful WDW day! We lay in the sun for a while reading and listening to music until it was too warm that I had to cool off by jumping in the water. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures because I didn’t want to risk my camera getting wet since it was not water proof! After our swim, we dried off and went back inside to change. And if memory serves me correctly, we ate dinner either Peek-a-boo or The Fountain again, but I didn’t get any pics of it, silly me!! However I DO know that after dinner we had the most AMAZING shakes in the world!!!!
I had the banana and chocolate shake
100_0921.jpg

And step dad and mom each had a Reece’s Pieces peanut butter and jelly shake
100_0922.jpg

We ate them in the beautiful lobby, and mom took a picture of me in front of the lovely fountain!!
100_0925.jpg

Mom and I kept exploring the resort, while step dad turned in early. We were dancing through the halls of conference rooms, and we decided to check out/use a beautiful bathroom! We were still being very silly!
100_0926.jpg

We decided it was time to settle down, and get some rest because tomorrow we were going to…..THE MAGIC KINGDOM!!!! Yayyyy!!! :woohoo:

Day 4 next up!

Em - you're doing a GREAT job with this TR!!! Way better than I could have done (your memory is far superior!!!). Keep up the great work!!!

I love them phone booths - a shame that the girl hung up and didn't want to play along!

Yay on spotting the Queen of Hearts! I've not seen many pictures of her on these boards :thumbsup2

Love the WS pics - I can't wait to do some shopping in Epcot! Please tell me you had a caramel treat at Karamelle Kuche - I've heard the treats at that place are amazing!! :cloud9:

Did you offer Snow White the Beverley?! :rotfl:

Mmm them shakes look yummy! popcorn::

I know! I was excited! haha she was just standing all by herself! :lmao:

Thank you! I took SO many pictures this trip! It's actually a bit ridiculous :rolleyes1 hahaha But some of them came out really good!! :woohoo: no, sadly I never did get a caramel treat, but perhaps my mom got a caramel apple...hmmm I'm thinking she did!

:lmao: omg that would be too funny!!!!

They were so amazing!! I want one right now! :goodvibes

Glad you're reading! I'll post day 4 soon, my memory is failing me though so I need to consult with my mom before I post so everything's correct! :goodvibes

Day 4:

This morning we slept in and ate breakfast at Picabu and decided to hop in the car to go find a landromat to do some laundry and stop at the Winn Dixie to get some breakfast food. We were driving and driving around trying to find a Laundromat, but it was NOWHERE to be found!! :confused3 We stopped at the grocery store and bought Croissants, Nutella (which took us FOREVER to find!!), plums, and some other toiletry items. We continued to drive around on our search before giving up at going back to WDW where we would go...to the MAGIC KINGDOM!!

100_0928.jpg

We got there around 1:00, and we were not alone! It was CROWDED, so we weren’t planning on staying long, however we did have ADRs for an early dinner at Crystal Palace. I didn’t take many pictures today, so I apologize in advance! It’s hard to remember what we did without pictures!! Anyway, we walked down Main Street, glad to be back! I love MK because it’s so magical, and even though my favorite park is Epcot, it is only in MK that I feel I’m REALLY at Disney World.
100_0929.jpg

Just look at it! It looks so magical!
100_0930.jpg

We headed into Adventureland and rode Pirates and then got FPs for SM for later that evening.
100_0932.jpg

It was very hot so we decided to get a dole whip to share! It was so yummy!
100_0934.jpg

Then we went on the Haunted Mansion, but the Brazilian tour groups thought it was a good idea too apparently! They are so loud and can be very disrespectful to other guests!! We finally got on the ride, and all three of us were instructed to smush into one buggie  It was a little tight :rotfl:

After our spooky ride, our FPs for SM were ready, so we made our way over and were placed in the front!! Yay!! BUUUUTTT, we got SOAKED! I love that ride though! It never gets old!

We then decided to get off our feet for a bit in the HoP. I don't enjoy this as much as my mom does, but I'm sure I will grow a liking to it! After the show, we played around in the gift shop and I tried on some nice hats!! :lmao:
IMG_2791.jpg

IMG_2792.jpg

100_0948.jpg

We decided to make our way around the castle to Tomorrowland because we wanted to relax on the TTA PeopleMover. We love this ride because it’s so relaxing and fun! On the way we stopped to pose in front of the castle!
IMG_2774.jpg

IMG_2795.jpg

After our ride on the TTA, we rode Buzz Lightyear and made our way back to CP because it was time to check in for our ADRs. When we got to our table, we found confetti on our table because of our celebrations!
100_0935.jpg

So I made it into a 2010 for my graduation! :goodvibes
100_0936.jpg

I love the food at CP! It’s always so yummy!! This is my plate…
100_0937.jpg

Mom’s
100_0938.jpg

And Step Dad’s
100_0939.jpg

Then Piglet and Eeyore came over to take pictures with us!
IMG_2785.jpg

IMG_2786.jpg

We wanted to ride the Carousel of Progress to let our very full bellies settle, so we headed back over to Tomorrowland, but stopped in ToonTown to take visit Mickey and Minnie’s houses before they get renovated.
IMG_2800.jpg

IMG_2802.jpg

We went on COP and when we came out there was a dance party happening! We hung out and danced (yes we most definitely danced!!!) for a while until we went back to Main Street to get a good spot for the Electrical Parade and Fireworks!
100_0952.jpg

After the show we raced back to the TTC to pick up our car and get back to the hotel. We HAD to do laundry, so we brought our clothes down to the ONLY laundry room for the ENTIRE hotel,,,,it was a bit busy! haha We ended up crawling into bed later than we hoped, but we were excited to snuggle into the heavenly beds of the Dolphin!

Stay tuned for Day 5!

Popped over to read your TR... no worries about it being almost a year later! Better late than never, right? ;)

Wow, I had no idea that resort was so huge!
