~A XMAS STORY~decorations, crowds, pixies..AND A BLOODY NOSE~ACTUAL UPDATE 11/9 p190

Oh My Gosh ! Brett looks SO happy ! and I'm so happy for all of you.
Bet Aunt Dawn is planning a trip to Nashville soon, to have more time with Margot.

Yeaaaa! I'm so glad they worked it out!!! Now she gets her DADDYYYY!
I loved the pictures and her Daddy's little girl onsie was too cute! Your brother looked so happy!!!

I loved the dance party pics and videos! I now more than ever want to go during Christmas.

again, not an update (sorry) but two videos i saw today that i just had to share here.

first, i just loved john mayer's performance at the michael jackson tribute today. i thought it was haunting.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvrtuAmHHnI

i don't know how many of you saw MJ's daughter, paris, make a couple of comments but it was probably one of the saddest things i've ever seen. we've got it on CNN right now because we missed the tribute today and they keep showing it. ray is now putting a pillow in front of his face because he says he can't take it any more. i thought it was so awesome how the pallbearers (his brothers) all wore rhinestone gloves on one hand.

second, i don't know if you guys have seen this but it's a video a family took a few days ago while they were riding in the front of the monorail with the CM that got killed in the accident on july 5th. his name is austin wuennenburg and he was only 21 years old. so sad. he seems like a really nice kid. my prayers are with his family and friends.

Oh Dawn.. he seems so sweet (the driver) Our driver last year in the front was not this personable. My heart aches even more now.. thanks for sharing the link! Disney lost a gem!

Dawn, i am a sometimes poster but mostly lurker. I am enjoying the trip report.:thumbsup2 Great news about your brother, and good luck to him and his baby. :)So sad about MJ. :guilty:Also the video of the monorail driver that was killed, made me cry. So so sad. :sad2:

So glad to hear your brother was able to work it out. It sounds like a very fair agreement! I'm so happy for all of you!

Oh, I hope your tooth feels better soon! Once that antibiotic kicks in, you should!

oh, that antibiotic helped tons! thanks.

Hey Dawn! It was so good to meet you! I'll be starting my TR tomorrow hopefully!

i know....so glad i got to come up there while you were passing through!!!!

Ok, WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS! It's awesome & do you remember how much it was?

unfortunately i'm not sure you can get it any more. it was the "gift with purchase" deal they had going for the holidays. i think if you spent $40, you could get the throw for $15. i'm not sure that you can get it now but they may bring it back for the holidays - i know it was VERY popular!

:cool1:The party looks great! You might have me rethinking not going for our December trip!

it was so much fun! i would definitely consider it if you can fit it into schedule/budget.

You are so much fun!

 thanks!

Okay, that's it, I have found my future job at Disney -- I want to be one of the stepsisters! They have too much fun! :lmao:

seriously! i've always wanted to play either alice or malificent, but i think they'd be more fun. they're always doing silly things and they crack me up every time i'm around them!

The Characters are so cute. Especially the stepsisters, they look like so much fun.

the stepsisters are AWESOME!

My mom bought that throw. Wish I had gotten one! Those step sisters are a trip aren't they? :lmao:

i love my throw....it's so soft! we bought one for ray's mom for watching the dogs and i saw it the other day neatly folded over an armchair, so i guess she's still using it. and yes, those sisters are so funny!

The dance party with the stepsisters looked like a blast! Love how you got out there to dance too!!!

oh, i can't help myself! when i hear music i have to MOVE! :dance3::laughing:

The stepsister's party looks like so much fun. Those 2 guys look like really good sports to dance with them to Stayin' Alive w/ everyone watching. How funny!

i think they were dads. they had pulled them out there just as we were walking up. it was great!

What an awesome update about Brett and Margot! Congrats to your brother and what a relief for all of you!

Aw I'm so glad that everything worked out Dawn! I was really hoping it would. Margot's such a cutie and already getting so big! Congrats again!

Aw Dawn, she's precious! :cutie:

Margot is absolutely precious! I am so glad everything has been worked out and without having to go to court is a blessing. So glad that Brett gets to see Margot and spend time with her on a regular basis now.

I just now saw this. It started my day out with a big old happy smile! I know they are enjoying their time with her. She is lucky to have so many people who love her. I'm glad everything was worked out amicably, and I hope that stays that way for her lifetime!

She is a sweet treasure, Dawn!

I'm so happy that things have been worked out with Margot! That's fantastic news, Dawn! :yay:

Yay:cool1: I have been hoping that he would get a good outcome in his situation. And he did!!!!! That is awesome that he will have her so much and has has everyone around to help and support him!!!! Margot is absolutely adorable and she is getting so big!!!

I am so glad that everything has been worked out with Margot! She is absolutely adorable and I am glad that Brett gets his time with her now!:goodvibes

Congratulations to Brett and your family:love:

So happy for your brother that they worked something out. I have a family member going through a custody thing and it is not an easy situation. Good for them to get it worked out! She is so cute, and your brother looks so happy w/ her.

That's such awesome news Dawn! I'm so glad to hear that Jordan and Brett were able to work something out for Margot! She is absolutely PRECIOUS!

Much congratulations to your brother! That is great that a settlement was reached, and he now knows that he will get to be with his daughter while she grows up. She has already changed so much, she really is beautiful. I am very happy for your family!

Oh My Gosh ! Brett looks SO happy ! and I'm so happy for all of you.
Bet Aunt Dawn is planning a trip to Nashville soon, to have more time with Margot.

i just wanted to thank all of you for your sweet comments and especially for your thoughts and prayers for brett during all this. you guys don't even know him but i feel like he's got so much support behind him! so far everything's okay. she's still being weird about some things (got mad that he took the baby to have lunch with my dad last weekend) but she will just have to learn to deal with those things. and thanks for the compliments about margot....i agree - she is JUST PRECIOUS!!! :goodvibes

Awesome update!
I've seen that throw a few times. :)

You did a great job on the hokey pokey. I am really hoping we can see stepmother and her girls for Brooklynn on this trip.

The videos are such a fun part of the reports. We're planning to do a lot of videoing this time, too.

thanks! yeah, that throw has gotten around, huh? ;) i hope you guys run into them, too. they're always so fun.

What a fun update!

thanks!

My 16 year old daughter got that throw in December and she sleeps with it every night. She puts it on top of all her other blankets! It is very soft.

it's soooo soft! i love it.

The dance parties look great and the Step Sisters look so much fun. Glad you managed to get a photo with the Queen of Hearts too :thumbsup2

So pleased things have been worked out for your brother, sounds as though Margot will be well looked after :goodvibes

the dance party was a blast! i hope you get to come to one someday.

That's great that everything got worked out and Brett will get to see his beautiful daughter! Did he ever find out why Jordan did what she did?

she claims she told her mom to call us when she went into labor and that her mom didn't. i do believe her mom would do that (she's a loon) but i don't believe for a second that jordan told her to call us. if she did, the first thing out of her mouth at the hospital that night would've been, "i'm so sorry we didn't call you. it was just a miscommunication," but she said nothing about it.

Dawn, so happy to hear that things worked out well between Jordan and Brett with Margot. She's such a precious little girl and I'm happy to hear they figured something out without going to court. Good job to both of them for being adults.

Loved the last Christmas party update too! That dance party with the sisters and lady tremaine looks like so much fun! I just told Chris we are checking that out when we're there, definitely and I will try and make him dance with them! :rotfl:

thanks! oh, i gotta see him dance with them and you gotta get video of it!!!!

That is wonderful news about Brett and Margot. I am happy that it is resolved, and I hope everything continues to go well.

Those dance parties look so fun, we may have to go to the Christmas party some time.

it was a lot of fun. i highly recommend it if you go during that time of the year!

I'm so happy to hear Brett got things worked out:thumbsup2

Ray takes great videos--thanks for asharing them:goodvibes

i will tell him you said so!

Yeaaaa! I'm so glad they worked it out!!! Now she gets her DADDYYYY!
I loved the pictures and her Daddy's little girl onsie was too cute! Your brother looked so happy!!!

I loved the dance party pics and videos! I now more than ever want to go during Christmas.

it's such a great time to go! if you ever get a chance to go in late november or in december, do it!

Oh Dawn.. he seems so sweet (the driver) Our driver last year in the front was not this personable. My heart aches even more now.. thanks for sharing the link! Disney lost a gem!

i know! i hope i didn't upset you but i thought everybody would like to see it.

what a sweet video and article--thoughts and prayers for his family and friends:hug:

such a sad event.

Dawn, i am a sometimes poster but mostly lurker. I am enjoying the trip report.:thumbsup2 Great news about your brother, and good luck to him and his baby. :)So sad about MJ. :guilty:Also the video of the monorail driver that was killed, made me cry. So so sad. :sad2:

thanks for de-lurking! i think i've seen you on other TRs before here and there. i'm sorry i made you cry! i just felt the need to share it though because he seemed like such a nice kid.

So glad to hear your brother was able to work it out. It sounds like a very fair agreement! I'm so happy for all of you!

thanks so much!

Dawn, we were the same way when it showed Paris! It just broke our hearts! I of course, started crying and then Chad got teary eyed. Hollie looked at us and asked us why we were crying and why was that little girl crying. I told Hollie that she was crying for her daddy because he wasn't here anymore. Hollie looked at us and said, "Aww, I wish I could hug her!"

John Mayer's performance was really good! That is one of my favorite songs by MJ!!

I saw that video the family took on the monorail!! All I could think of was that if there was a family up front it would have been more deaths! That was just awful and I feel so bad for that young mans family!

I saw that video of Austin from another thread...it's just so sad and unbelievable. :sad1:

I watched some of the national coverage of the MJ memorial on ABC last night, it seemed like a very touching, heartfelt gathering at the Staples Center. I did cry while watching, esp when Paris spoke. Just heartbreaking.
I could not watch the video of the monorail driver, I have a 23yo son who lost a dear friend and coworker last year in a car accident. I cannot imagine the pain the family is going through.
I am very thankful for all of my blessings, but mostly for the health and happiness of my family and friends. I see so much pain and heartbreak in my career, I try to focus on positive things as much as possible in my life.

so sweet about hollie!!!! :goodvibes i love john mayer anyway and i just thought what he did was so classy. no singing....just him and his guitar and michael's music. i bet they won't let people ride up front any more in the monorail. scary to think there could've been a family up there. so sad about losing such a young life!

i didn't watch the whole tribute (i was at work) but what i saw on CNN was really touching. just so you know, the video is just of a family that rode in the front with him recently. it shows him as a nice, friendly CM who let the little boy sit in the driver's chair. i just didn't want you to think it was anything about the accident - i would never post a video of something like that. i agree about being thankful. when something like this happens it just reminds us how lucky we all are to have the people who care about us in our lives.

well, i was hoping to get some 4th of july pictures up and/or an update done before tomorrow but anna hasn't sent me her pics yet. and considering i'm about 30 minutes away from taking a valium that my oral surgeon prescribed and exactly 12 hours away from having 4 wisdom teeth removed, i don't see that happening tonight!

i'm kinda nervous about my surgery tomorrow so say a little prayer for me just to be brave. i have another valium to take in the morning before my appointment and then i will be completely sedated with an IV during the surgery. only 1 of my teeth is impacted so the other 3 are just being pulled. hopefully it won't be too bad. i will peep in and say hi as soon as i'm coherent again, probably sometime on saturday!

Gooooooooood luck tomorrow, Dawn! I know you'll do great & it'll be over with before you know it! I hope you're not in too much pain when you get home. We'll all be thinking about you!

good luck Dawn!! My soon-to be 14 yr had her two bottom impacted wisdom teeth out on Monday:scared1: After the first 2 post surgery, she was pretty good! Here are som ehugs and prayers for you:hug::grouphug::flower3:
