A wrinkle cream that WORKS!!!

lol!

rie'smom I really hope that you love this stuff as much as I do!

What did you get?

Did you speak with anyone or just dive right in?

Let me know how you like it!

Take care.

Check out Paula Begouins at Cosmeticscop.com. She is the person who wrote don't go to the cosmetics counter without this book. It is a huge book rating products exclusive of the price. I hate to tell all of you there is only ONE product that affects wrinkles and it is heredity (or plastic surgery). I think it is important to exfoliate a couple of times a week. I use Ceteyphil(sp) with a little baking soda in it. IT works wonders. I have purchased TONS of creams at a variety of prices and let me say that they work for a while b/c they plump up the wrinkles but NOTHING takes them away. Keep out of the sun, ALWAYS wear sun block, drink plenty of water, and avoid soap.

I know I look at least 10 years younger. Even my doctors have been surprised by my age.

I am reading this thread with interest.

I am feeling older these days and I think I am showing it too! Yuck!

Now, here is MY question......has anyone changed their diet to start looking younger and had it work? I know some women have looked fantastic after a few months of changing to a RAW foods diet.

Or Dr. Oz's Real Age Diet?

Any thoughts?

I am starting to get to the point of being willing to be more drastic.

Dawn

I remember a lady on Oprah some years back, maybe in 60s, had been using Preparation H on her skin for years. She did look like she was in her 40s!!!:confused3

As far as diet...eating healthy is obviously helpful to skin, but as with all "diets", it sounds difficult to stick to, and I imagine the results are marginal (much like most of the products out on the market.)

I trust my dermo. Especially since what she recommended was not the line they sell there!!! Retinol PM, AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) AM. Drugstore brands (just check ingredients carefully for these specific items!) If you want more dramatic results and can tolerate it, get straight Retin A by prescription.

Wow thank you so much for all of your recommendations. I think I am going to take the plunge and buy the ROC products. They are saying give them 12 weeks and they will make you look 10 years younger. I am ready to give it a try! I have been using Arbonne's RE9 system and I like it but I have not seen any anti aging results.

I will keep you all posted.

I used the Airborne RE9 (the whole line, had a party and it still was major $) for a while and didn't really think it was worth the $ to get more. It did last over a year I think. I also used the Victoria Principle stuff and it was ok, but once again not worth the effort and $ to get more (and their order system kind of sucks with the send it even when you don't want it policy.)

I recently bought some Loreal Revita lift (like yesterday.) and we will see. I just needed something and was at the store and it wasn't too $ ($20 for 1.7 oz.)

Maybe I will look into Roc next time or see what else is recommended here. My problem is more wrinkles then oily skin at the moment. Maybe I will look into ice elements too.

Hi!

I would HIGHLY recommend Ice Elements.

The Ice Elements line has a base of pharmaceutical grade aloe vera and a glyco protein called antarcticine which highly increases the amount of moisture that the skin holds as well as helping with collagen.

The line was developed by Shelly Maguire, a long time owner of several spas, who went into business in order to provide more people with great spa products that are easy enough to use at home. She is partnered with Frank Tedesco, a physical therapist and has an esthetician and fitness expert on site (on the websites message board located by clicking the message board tab at iceelements.com) for anyone to use.

Not only are the products incredible but the customer service is out of this world! In addition to the generous help by other consumers that frequent their message board that always seem eager to help, you can get personal service by either going to the board of your choice for Shelly, Frankie, Brenda, etc or you can call them and they will either answer personally or return your call, generally within a day.

I found this company a couple of years ago when I was seeking the perfect skin care for me... I ended up being directed to hsn.com which I was a bit leery of because I have never been into the television shopping shows and had honestly considered them to be a place that hawked a bunch of junk that looked good on tv but would never perform at home... Since the products were so highly recommended I did look into it and after seeing that hsn.com gives out a 30 day no questions asked guarantee on all products, including beauty products, I decided to go for it and ordered a big kit. Then I went over to their personal site and picked up the phone to inquire about a product that looked interesting that was offered as a sample on the site and was met by the nicest voice on the other end.

Seriously, Ice Elements has Disney like service...

Personally I can attest that the products have helped me immensely with the issues that I have and has helped other family members with other issues. I could go on forever because I just love this stuff so much!!!

I do not work for them at all. I just was really knocked off my feet by the care and service of a company in a day and age when it is often so difficult to find.

While I cannot promise that Ice Elements will work for everyone like it works for me, I would highly recommend that you consider visiting their website at http://iceelements.com and join the message board to speak with Shelly, Frankie or Brenda (or all 3) either on the board or by PM. Shelly is well known for working one on one with people to find the right product or products for them... Do not be afraid to say what you are using and what you like by product name and she will tell you which products may work well with what you are using and will discourage you from purchasing something from her that she doesn't think that you need... which I think is really cool. She isn't into sales at all... You also might want to call instead.. whatever is easier for you as she may have some questions as to your skin type and issues...

My favorite products that they have are the Anti-Aging Serum and their 2 Minute Miracle Exfoliation Gel.

I find the serum very hydrating for my dry type skin and it is great for both repair and prevention... The 2 minute miracle is a very gentle exfoliation process that works great for all skin types, even sensitive skin like mine. Exfoliating is something that my face was really missing until I found this because I found other products just too harsh for me.

I apologize for going on and on... It is one of those things that I am very passionate about. Skin care has never been easy for me and once I found these people I feel like I cannot say enough good things...

I do hope that you consider trying it. I am sure glad that I did!

WOW what a commercial!:rotfl:

WOW what a commercial!:rotfl:

Yeah... sorry about sounding like a commercial! I visit a couple of beauty boards and generally when we speak about something that we like we try to give a lot of specifics and facts so that others reading it can easier decide if it sounds like something that would be for them... sometimes I get a bit carried away because I really love the stuff... but, by know you already know that! :lmao:

lol! about the abs, bootee and thighs!

You got some really great stuff!

What I sometimes do, if I am in a hurry, is to wash my face before I get in the shower and then put on the blueberry mask and let it sit while I shower, rinsing it off just before I get out... otherwise I will leave it on for about an hour while I play online or do whatever around the house so my skin can soak up all of the antioxidants. ;)

I checked over at http://iceelements.com and they are still giving away 2 1/4 oz sample containers of the 2 minute miracle exfoliation gel for the cost of shipping. They also have a demo video on the lower left corner of the sample page so you can take a peek at how it works to see if you might want to try it.

If you do go over to the message board, I am Bosoxy over there.

Take care.

I wanted so badly to run out to the store last night and dive into some of the new products mentioned. I hope the ROC products show results. I did order the free Ice Elements samples too.
I agree about the Re9. I still use it right now but I will not reorder the products. They were really expensive to see no results. I wonder what Susan Lucci uses besides plastic surgery....her skin looks great.
