A Wonderful Surprise

Hi Everyone...I just have to share this information. I moved from my hometown when I was 12 and it broke my heart to leave my friends. That was 40 years ago...just last week, one of my childhood friends found me on facebook. Seems she has been looking for me for many, many years. Since then, she and I have been posting, and to my surprise, a number of the kids I was friends with have been responding. It's wonderful to talk to them again after all these years and rekindle the friendships. I am humbled by the fact that a number of them have been wondering what happened to me and are excited to find me. All I can say, is the wonder of the internet. It's bringing back the friends that I had 40 years ago. Going to try and set up a reunion of sorts next year. Surprises happen every day, just never expected it to happen to me.

I am hoping to reconnect with some friends as I moved alot.

However--I caution you--tread very carefully! One beloved friend just unfriended me. Very sad and I will not go into why. But it is probably for the best. She was a very outspoken individual and as it turns out a bit volatile. Kinda sad.
