Why does Mel look so unhappy on the monorail? I could have understood that picture if it was AFTER she drank the Beverly (that picture is priceless). I still can't understand HOW my husband said "it's not bad."

Juliana looks so intent listening to the CM talk about the shark teeth, etc.

Great update, Juliana is looking so intently out the window on the way to Epcot! And I agree, I love how the monorail loops around into Epcot before you get off. We have an early morning ADR at Akershus coming up and DH wanted to take a cab there but I was like, what about the monorail, I love the monorail! Now if we can ride the Tron one, he'll be all set since he's a big fan.

Oh man, bathroom stops. Last trip with my in-laws, they called my DD7 the bathroom inspector because she probably used every single bathroom at Disney. I'm not exagerrating either, that girl always had to pee! So I can feel your pain. I'm hoping this next trip that she's outgrown that!

Super cute pic of the 3 of you in front of Spaceship Earth. I noticed that Mel and Juliana keep wearing long sleeve shirts or coats yet you are in short sleeve? I guess it's because you're so manly, the cold doesn't bother you! DH is the same way, I swear he exudes heat or something, like a super hero!

Juliana looks so cute with Bruce! My middle DD was literally hanging out of his mouth, looking like she'd been eaten last time we were there! It was hilarious. But Juliana looks sweet, not gory like mine did!

You know, I tried pulling the ol' Beverly trick on DH but he liked it! I'm guessing Mel did not! I think it tastes like tree bark and soda water, it's so bitter, ugh.

How cool that you got the special entrance! That is amazing, I love that they changed the color of the floor for Juliana. So cute!

I looked at my DD's receipt and her camera was $19.99 at Target. It's a pink Vivitar and has already been dropped about 20 times since she bought it! Yet it still works, the screen isn't too big though but she loves it.

I have never seen anyone else taking pics of their food at Disney. Never. Or maybe I'm just not paying attention? But that won't deter me!

We could feel the anticipation building and before we knew it we were riding over the park. I just love how you get a little tour before actually stepping foot in the park.

We were going through the bag check and the security guard noticed the chocolate drizzled Mickey popcorn that was in our new Mickey bag. He got the attention of the security guy next to him and asked him if we were allowed to enter Epoct with the popcorn...... without giving any to them! We thought they were really funny.

Nice. And thanks for the tip! It's good to know that Disney Security can be bribed if need be.

It was already 11:20 and we had limited time in Epcot. We didn't really have a plan so what would we do first? Find a bathroom. This was the first of many bathroom trips for Juliana. I think she used every bathroom in Epcot in the few short hours we were there.

That's quite an achievement. Do they have a special pin for that?

We asked Juliana what she wanted to do first and her ride of choice was Soarin'.

That's an excellent choice.

We were heading back outside and I couldn't help but notice a few people eating at Sunshine Seasons with huge strawberry shortcakes. They looked soooo good but I couldn't even think about eating anything.

Their dessert bar is awesome!

Actually some tasted pretty good. I even snuck a little sip of the mother of all sodas: The Beverly! Before I tricked... I mean.. suggested to my wonderful wife to try the Beverly, I had to know for myself how bad it really was. It was bad but not horrible. Melody might of begged to differ.

Agreed! This goes on the list of things that are always funny, like inhaling helium, whoopie cushions, and inappropriate air horns.

That is really great that she doesn't drink soda. I'm hoping to raise my kids that way. One of my nieces doesn't like the fizzies from soda so she only drinks juice.

Not only she doesn't drink soda, but she doesn't drink anything but water and milk. I am not upset about this.

I think Mel wasn't amused with me taking a picture of her at that moment. I think I just called her name and snapped the pic. She goesn't know that I posted it.... yet.

I think the Beverly wasn't the worst thing I ever tasted... now I'm trying to think what the worst thing I ever tasted was.

The lounge was very nice... all it needed was bottled water. (they only had soda, tea, & coffee)

I should of wrote something about the weather. It was in the mid to upper 60's. Coming from CT it felt good to me, but the girls still kept on their jackets.

Seriously, it was my dad's favorite ride and since it is the first ride both of the kids rode with Grandpa, it was "Grandpa's Ball" and remains so even now after he is gone.

Great update (aside from the picture that Mel is gonna kill you over ) - that lounge is AWESOME! They made the floor PINK! Incredible. I bet Juliana was lovin' all that. And a VIP entrance to boot? Oh ya!

Sorry to hear you are running behind schedule, I hope none of you felt rushed and just enjoyed what you could do! Chef Mickey's breakfast looked yummy. We have that booked for our trip, we've done dinner (terrible food, GREAT otherwise) - I'm hoping for a good meal! I'll keep it in mind about the breakfast potatoes.
