A Will & Grace question....

I'm a huge fan of the show, but I was not totally satisfied with the ending. However I like how Jack and karen end up. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the screne with the 2 of them singing. Sean was actually playing the piano :goodvibes and Megan really does sing like an angel :cloud9:

It doesnt matter I will still BUY every DVD! I will still watch all the re-runs. :thumbsup2

Did anyone notice that in the FUTURE scenes that everyone 'AGED" but Karen? :rotfl2:
Throughout the shows run they alluded that Karen is MUCH older than anyone thinks. She once started talking about her childhood during the depression years, etc!

Am I the only one that liked the finale? I actually liked how it went into the future. So many shows end and leave you wondering what would have happened to the characters in the future, and this time we got to find out.

Yes, it was kind of choppy, but it was nice to see what ended up happening. It was nice to see everyone happy.

I liked it to. A really nice tie-up and "solution". It was really the only way to give the show a "happily ever after" where everyone had a partner.

Stan did die and he left everything to Karen. Problem was that it wasnt "real" money. It was the type of money that was always changing hands and being invested/borrowed/transfered. So when it came down to it, Karen really inherited nothing. There was no actual money. Thats what was stated in the finale. Or at least what I understood of it. After Stan died she was living off what he left her and she had no clue that it wasnt real. So when the real money actually went away, they lawyer called her and said she was broke. Thats when Beverly Leslie told Jack about being his heir if he was the plaything. Karen convinced him to "take one for the team". So they ended up living off that money after Beverly Leslie died.

No, I don't think Stan did die. At least that is what I took away from this. He faked his death, and appeared in Will's office (of course we didn't get to see him) sometime during the next season. Then, Karen and Stan ended up divorced, and that is how she lost all of her money. Or am I wrong?

Now you got me thinking. I swear that Stan died. I know he faked his death, but then I thought he died for real. I know I missed a few episodes over the years, but I thought he died. I do know that in the last episode she lost her money becuase it wasnt' "real", not because of divorce.

Hmm...I did miss a few episodes this season too, so maybe he did.

Anyone know for sure?

I heard she has to get permission from the WAG people to do the karen character. She just shot a promo for her talk show it was adorable. IT was her as "megan" and her as "karen" and they were together "talking" and hanging out. It was cute how they made it look like they were 2 different people and I guess it was to show the people who are not familiar with the real megan that she is someone other than the character on will and grace.

If anyone knows Megan they can see and "hear" she is a completely different person than the character karen walker.

Stan did fake his death which I thought was strange. I dont think he ever actually dies. In the finale they get divorced and his money is no good anymore. Shes actually in a restarunt having dinner with jack and when she goes to pay with her credit card it declines. Thats when she realizes she doesnt have money anymore.

Stan didn't die. Karen divorced him and got a huge divorce settlement. When her credit card doesn't work she finds out all of stan's things are borrowed so what she got from her divorce was worthless.

Also does anyone know how old karen was actually meant to be? In like season two jack accidently lets slip that she is 42 but she makes references to being older ("during the depress... *pause* 80s")

Its always been an "inside joke" karen is supposed to be much older but her looks never change she always looks young. They never really say how old she is ;)

In real life she is 47 going to be 48 in November :goodvibes and still beautiful as ever!

Karen was also always going to Mexico to bring back amphetamines and get plastic surgery...a little botox here, a little botox there. :)
