Seriously, when I store my Christmas Chip and Dale and other stuffed animals, I store them in an open tub and put a towel over the top to keep the dust off. I can't even put a lid on my stuffed animals, so I could never do it to real ones!!!

Have you ever tried to bathe a squirrel? One liked it and the other not so much! The end result is two babies bathed, fed and put to bed...

I was relieved that we found the second, it is better to have two instead of only one. I hope the eyes open soon, I think we have found a squirrel rescue willing to take them. Within the next couple of weeks they will begin to get much more mobile!
They actually have their two bottom front teeth. The are long and very sharp looking. I was glad that I didn't get bit. They have shown no signs of biting us though.
The little male just loves to be held and cuddled! He just curls up so sweetly, the little female is squirmy.

It's the craziest thing, and I wish I didn't have this issue, because things 'normal' people don't even think of can just do mental damage to me. For instance, watching Ratatouille: mouse in a jar...I have to go away until that part is over.
I'm trying to be a good squirrel mommy but am hoping that they will be able to take them at the rescue this weekend!

Lol, I can imagine it now! Our cocker spaniel used to be wild about trying to catch squirrels. She never could. One day a squirrel just stopped in its tracks, turned around and looked at her and she came yelping to the door it scared her so badly!! Silly old dog. She used to play with bricks too.
