Do you think Disneyland will lower it's prices in 2026 now that Early Entry will be eliminated in January?

Will we see lower prices for Disneyland Tickets in 2026 due to the elimination of Early Entry?

With the news that Disneyland will eliminate Early Entry to Disneyland Resort Hotel guests will this mean that Disneyland will lower it's prices for tickets in 2026? In my eyes I do think we will see Disneyland start to lower it's ticket prices in 2026 and we will see a giant drop in attendance for visitors who will visit the park in 2026. I do think this was a wrong move for Disneyland to do because when people stay at the Disneyland Resort Hotels they expect extra perks that makes staying at the resort hotels extra special. And I also think Disneyland Resort hotels will begin having lower prices and easy ways to get discounts on rooms. But they should've offered something better than a Lightning Lane pass to come with a hotel stay. Disneyland needs to realize that you do not take good perks away from hotel guests

Disney is set to raise prices, with peak rates going up to $200/day for the Magic Kingdom next year so no Disney will not lower prices. Disney is a business and sometimes businesses make horrible decisions, but those loyal to the brand will still spend their money there.

No. The same day they announced EE was going away, they released hotel rack rates for 2026. The hotel rates are substantially higher per night than in 2025. Also, ticket prices to the parks will almost surely go UP in October, consistent with prior years.

Disney does not reduce prices once they raise them. Instead, they will continue to offer promos and discounts on hotels and tickets (e.g., SoCal tickets, summer promotions, etc.).

Depending on hotel bookings at the Resort, resort hotel sales may be higher than in 2025. The hotel situation is not the same as the ticket situation. I do not see anymore ticket deals in 2026 than existed in 2025. There will be no ticket sale for the bulk of the Halloween Time season or Holiday season. Expect the So Cal ticket deal for January through March/April with blackout dates. Disneyland recently opened up Magic Key Sales again so that will provide a steady revenue and steady guest attendance. Perhaps another 70th ticket deal but I think as time goes by interest fades.

Not a chance! Disney resort reservations have nothing to do with ticket sales. Disneyland is mostly a locals park and the vast majority of guests most days have a magic key and are not buying daily tickets. Now most locals do not stay onsite very often, but there are many who will for a special occasion. I live about 20 minutes from Disneyland and have 3 staycations booked at Disneyland within the next year. All 3 are on Disney property (VGC December, VDH May, and VGC July). I will miss early entry but I will still be using my DVC points to stay on Disneyland property 2-4 times a year. And I do not have to buy tickets - I just renewed my pass so I am good for another year of fun.

Well, I don't have a crystal ball, but I can't imagine any normal scenario where Disney would lower its ticket prices. The whole reason for raising hotel rates is to increase revenue. It would make no sense to me to then lower the cost of tickets.

The other thing is that hotel rates are fairly easy to manipulate. If hotel attendance is down too much, you can have a special rate promo. If it holds steady and the hotels remain pretty full, then they can keep the rates higher. They can also do a ticket PROMO to temporarily make them lower. There are ways to manipulate both ticket and hotel rates but if they announce across-the-board lower ticket rates, they can't run a promo to make them higher!
