I am old, but will put on a cheerful face for my family and try to think of a place that they all will enjoy eating out at.
I so wish it could be Hollywood Brown Derby! I suggested it to Marc and he said no.....

OK, I am all caught up!

For the last 30 minutes I have been trying to keep the dogs quiet as the IDIOT across the street began shooting off fireworks at 8:30 a.m.!!!!

Well, HAPPY FOURTH RIGHT BACK AT YA!!! WOW, I just looked down at the clock and sure enough it is the 4th of July.....I think I might go out and light some fireworks in your honor!!! If the police show up, I will just tell them that we are celebrating the 4th and YOUR SPECIAL DAY (just a tadbit early!!)

That was such a sweet thought, do you have neighbors close by? They may have been a tadbit annoyed!

I've got to go find the Patriotic Mickey t-shirt that I bought in Disney World last year for the Fourth. Jill was wearing hers on Thursday for their school activities, and up until then I kind of forgot I even had it.

I so wish that I had bought one of those Patriotic Mickey Ts when I had the chance.

I think you should recreate Brown Derby or whatever your favorite Disney eating establishment might be for your birthday.
We have fun doing Disney at home, and it really does bring some happiness to the day!

I might have to put together a shopping list for the ingredients of the Cobb Salad....
By the way, we are almost exactly the same age. I'll be 52 on the 30th.

I thought we must be very close to the same age, but oh cool to be almost the exact same age! OK, off topic, but yesterday when I was over going through my mom's garage (which is jammed packed full) I noticed this peeking out from behind some junk.....

it was mine and it was still full!

The ladies will be starting to work at her house tomorrow in an effort to prepare for an estate sale that will be held in a couple of weeks. I'm so glad I found my 45s before they had them out and priced.

How exciting for your cruise, you guys will have a blast!! Sorry about having so much trouble with the airfare! I can only imagine the hassel of trying to fly out of Wichita...ugh!

I was looking at Birnbaum's DCL book last night, it does look like so much fun! I have a feeling that this might turn into another trip/pre-trip/pre-trip/trip report again.......
We did book the flights, and it was expensive...

My hair and Disney just don't mix, especially after getting it cut too short for a pony tail. I had to figure out how to keep it dry and ride Splash Mtn. I was afraid a poncho wouldn't do the trick, honestly if it had gotten wet it would have been a ball cap or back to the resort for a blow dry, so I came up with this, I know it isn't pretty but it worked.

We got soaked when the boat next to us made their way into the brier patch! I should have put on a poncho too.....

Zip A Dee Doo Dah is one of my morning songs at school so I had to take these pictures!

Baylor was ticked when he saw the girl in front of him had blocked his face with her hand.....

All done with the ride and my hair was dry!

We took a quick ride on BTMRR then headed to Adventure land, there was no line for Pirates so we rode and then I was needing a Dole Whip Float but on the way Marc got distracted......what do you think we spied?

I have no clue what his problem was but I can tell you his snit was short lived, he never pouted long on this trip!

That was the nicest Birthday song anyone has ever sung to me on the DIS! How thoughtful of you to stay up so late in my honor. I'm sure the fireworks were beautiful! Did the girls have fun? Are they little firebugs like Baylor?
