A Wigdout trip report, DISmeets, Flashing Jelly Rings and Manpris, Oh MY!

I hate playing the flight game. I am currently doing that and it's so nerve wracking!

Very nice about the cruise and BCV, that will be a wonderful trip. Especially that you get to do both next year! :thumbsup2

Good luck on finding some good airfares! I'll bet you can from your area, flying out of Wichita Kansas, is the pits. :headache:

Sending airfare pixie dust your way. pixiedust:

Oh, and I meant to comment on the cruise. :dance3:That just sounds like a party waiting to happen.:dance3:

We would love to get a group of DIS-friends to join us on that cruise! It would be a blast!

When I turned 40 I spent the day in bed pouting....
When I turned 50 I was having a garage sale......
I am old, but will put on a cheerful face for my family and try to think of a place that they all will enjoy eating out at.
I so wish it could be Hollywood Brown Derby! I suggested it to Marc and he said no.....

Nope, I have today and tomorrow to be 51. Then I will try to be brave to turn 52. :cutie:

Tell DH Happy Birthday from his almost birthday twin!

I turn 52 on the 15th!!! Aging doesn't bother me.....but the first time someone called me ma'am a couple of years ago it freaked me out!! Now...not so much!;)

And where I'm working right now, if your scheduled day to work falls on a holiday, you work it, period. Definately unfair as EVERY holiday and my birthday have all fallen on days I've been scheduled to work. Hopefully next year will be different!

Wow, we are almost twins separated at birth, I wonder if we have similar personalities?
AARP is now stalking me and that IS freaking me out:eek:!

Summers off is one of the good things about teaching, and believe you me, I need my summers off to recuperate from the school year! :faint:

Ok, all caught up, although I admit I used the cheat links. I love the chit chat, but this report moves too fast for me to ever catch up on if I read all of it. :)

The view from your room patio is so beautiful.:cloud9:

Your Orlando day looks fun. What a nice experience and that church is really pretty. I bet Baylor had a blast at Disney Quest.

Congratulations on the cruise booking and an early Happy Birthday!

Oh and we won't be going to Hollywood Brown Derby because we would have to leave today to drive and get there...... and I'm not packed.....:rotfl2:

I thought maybe after typing this you would think "hmmm why not", call for a dvc reservation and take off for a couple of days...lol. But.. I see you are still posting!

I bet you did!! Long ago I taught pre-school and kindergarten at a private school. We followed a public school holiday schedule and had two week breaks at Christmas, one week at Easter, 4 days for Thanksgiving and two weeks off in June and August. I really NEEDED that time off!! But you know I still miss teaching and think teachers rock!!:worship::cheer2:

Well, that's why we have those links, so I'm glad you used them and they worked!:goodvibes

It was very pretty, but we didn't spend anytime sitting out there because there were very large bumbly bees loving those flowers.:rotfl:

It was a fun day!
Congratulations on the cruise booking and an early Happy Birthday!

Thanks! I need to do some cruise reading!

Pixie dust for the airfares! What a headache! :wizard:

We need to book before 11:58 tonight to get the latest fares.....

You do not look 51 AT ALL! You look so much younger! :thumbsup2

Thanks, I think you look the way you feel, and most of the time I try to keep a youthful mindset.

I was, I'm a slow poster.....:lmao: I just might have to try to re-create that Cobb Salad!

It is great having holidays and the summer time off, especially since Marc and I are on the same schedule!

Everyone have a safe and fun filled 4th!
Well, HAPPY FOURTH RIGHT BACK AT YA!!! WOW, I just looked down at the clock and sure enough it is the 4th of July.....I think I might go out and light some fireworks in your honor!!! If the police show up, I will just tell them that we are celebrating the 4th and YOUR SPECIAL DAY (just a tadbit early!!)

Everyone have a safe and fun filled 4th!

And the same to you and yours!

I've got to go find the Patriotic Mickey t-shirt that I bought in Disney World last year for the Fourth. Jill was wearing hers on Thursday for their school activities, and up until then I kind of forgot I even had it.

I think you should recreate Brown Derby or whatever your favorite Disney eating establishment might be for your birthday.
We have fun doing Disney at home, and it really does bring some happiness to the day! ::MickeyMo

By the way, we are almost exactly the same age. I'll be 52 on the 30th.

Happy 4th of July to you too!!!!

How exciting for your cruise, you guys will have a blast!! Sorry about having so much trouble with the airfare! I can only imagine the hassel of trying to fly out of Wichita...ugh!

Yes M'am and it has really taken some work on my part....if I say so myself!! :goodvibes I was just glad that you left the windows cracked with me here in the backseat, cause I didn't know where everybody else had gone?? :confused3 It did help that I was over at our other friend's trippie for a bit today defending my honor, BUT, I really did work hard today on NOT tempting Shocker to come out and play!! ;)

Now when is this Birthday?? and if you refuse to say, then HAPPY BIRTHDAY whenever it is.......either this weekend, next week, or yesterday...(though it seemed like it was a "belated" wish when it was first mentioned in chat???) and I don't have a BIG MOUTH either, I have sat back here all day and not said a word......so there!!! Really, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, whenever it is!! :flower3:

Sorry to be away for so long but that duct tape is really, really sticky! :rotfl2:

THE birthday has yet to arrive and that is all I have been allowed to say up to this point.....:rolleyes1

As soon as I am finished here, I will zip over to that other TR and check on the defense of your honor.....maybe I can be of some assistance! :rotfl:
