Mmmmm, breakfast at Crystal Palace -- I can't wait!!!

Tom Sawyer Island looks fun! Was it a confusing layout at all? I don't want to get lost wandering around.

Hmm, the Remy sighting is not what I had in mind, thanks for the photo. Think we'll be skipping this one. Keep in mind my recent run in with "Alvin, the Chipmunk". I don't do small fury moving objects well.

We thought he was adorable! The interaction with the CM was terrific.

Tom Sawyer was fun, we were there after the paint brushes. Baylor is totally comfortable at Disney. He knows safe and unsafe...... I had no problem finding him, because I knew where he was heading to look. Maybe you or Charles could take Connor, then let Chelsea go in her own direction, and whoever doesn't have Connor go somewhere else.
Baylor and I were going to meet back at the ferry, but we found each other much quicker than I thought we would.

Great update Wigd. Again loving the pictures, that silly old Pooh wearing Baylor's hat!!!! LOL Crystal Palace would be one that I would also consider in the future for an early breakfast, but don't tell anybody I said that in Chat!! LOL Love the idea of getting a few autographs (and I don't think we ever got Piglet in all our line standing) and even better getting into the park without the crowds!!! How does that work, just tell them at the gate you have an ADR, but more "importantly", what happens after you finish your breakfast, are you allowed to leave to roam the park or is the park generally opened by then? I would also consider having breakfast in the Castle, but I have read that is a tough score??

I remember reading something about the paint brushes on Tom Sawyer Island before we left to go down there, but can't seem to remember now what the deal was??? Do you "win" something like Fast Passes for the day?? NO, it probably isn't that, because I am sure that is where Shocker WAS, running to get Fast Passes, since there was NO mention of him "on" the Island!! LOL I had also read about going to wake Tink up in some shop? Another thing we didn't go do, though they say "both" include a little luck and some fast feet!! LOL I do love the idea of getting into the park before the crowds, seems like a great chance to get some good photos and a way to avoid a least a few of the lines for autographs!! Are the photo pass people in the parks "working" before the parks officially open??

I won't mention it, but other than the picture out in front of the Castle, there were no pictures of Marc. Surely he was "off" the silent treatment by then and was allowed to eat with you? Anyway, there were no pics of him during breakfast, or with the Characters, or on Tom Sawyer's island........wait, I DID just mention it.....I don't know Shocker, maybe it is "ridicule"?????

Crystal Palace is fun! When you have early reservations in a park you go to a line especially for early park entry. You can walk up to the castle but until rope drop you can't go off into the "lands". There were no photo pass people around but we did have a CM offer to take our picture together. As for no pictures of Marc eating..........well, it was a buffet and I like pretty pictures. He isn't into arranging his plates, but we will try to do better next month! (I can't believe I'm saying next month )
You are so perceptive. After breakfast Marc had to go back to the resort for camera batteries. Since Tom Sawyer's Island doesn't open until 10:00 we had time for BTMRR and some pin shopping.
When you find a paint brush (one per family) the CM at at the ferry trades you for priority seating on any ride in the park.
He made it back and our fun day continued......

I was running, but it was back to the resort to replace the battery for the new camera. I was so busy getting ready to leave that morning that I forgot to replace the battery which had charged overnight. I did call Ashton, but he was too busy to bring a battery to her! Can you imagine that? I thought I bought the service warranty that included personal service!

We met Marc on Main Street and headed right over to the barber shop, Baylor was planning on getting a haircut. There was a line but not to long. I went over the details with Baylor, you are getting it really short, right? Baylor tells me, no just I little trim on the ends..........
Hmmmm, well, I'm not waiting in line for that. I was disappointed, it was time for a haircut and I was really hoping for some pictures with a boy without shaggy hair. Well it just didn't happen on this trip (but jumping ahead, this happened on our first morning back.....)

Back to the park....
We grabbed a Mickey Bar and headed off to check out the standby time for Pirates. It was only 20 minutes so we rode. We headed over to Monsters Inc and it was just time for the show so we stayed. It's always soooo much fun! On our way out we saw our first pair of manpris.....

By the time we got off the ride it was about noon so we decided to make our way back to the resort and do some shopping on our way out. No major purchases, just some antenna toppers and a zipper pull for Baylor's backpack.
We headed back to Old Key West for a little rest before our early dinner reservation at 1900 Park Fare, and I had some fast talking to do, someone was getting cold feet...........

Geez, now I guess I need to apologize to Shocker...he is going to have to prettify his plate NEXT month for the food pictures!! I am so sorry Shocker, maybe you can get Wigd. to come to the buffet line with you and place it on your plate as you decide what you want??? Seems like a fair trade to me and would keep you from having to stress whether it was "pretty" enough for a picture!!!!!!!

OK, let me say it FOR Wigd., NO she can't believe it and YES she is disappointed.....as far as Ashton not making time for HER. She will also now want to see the reciept to verify that you did INDEED purchase that type of warranty!!!!

Also does Wigd. know HOW blessed she really IS???? I mean, MARC went all the way BACK to the resort for batteries for HER new camera??? Let's see, I am CHEAP, however while you were going all the way back over to the resort to get the batteries, she was pin SHOPPING.....I am guessing a couple of batteries to get you through the day probably could have been purchased in the park for less than what some of them pins cost?????????? I give it to you Shocker I'm not sure I could have made that trek back to the resort for them. I am afraid I would have had to look over and say..batteries, batteries, YOUR camera needs batteries? Well dear, I do remember that I was kind enough to put them in the charger last night FOR YOU, but assumed as YOU were getting YOUR things together this morning to put into yet a different Vera, YOU would realize that YOU needed to put the batteries back in YOUR camera!!!! We'll meet you at Tom Sawyer Island when you get back or if YOU prefer, I think YOU could probably buy a set to get YOU through today if YOU decided not to do any pin shopping!!!! Man she is sooooooooo lucky to have you Shocker!! You buy her the camera, you buy her the warranty in hopes that Ashton will wait on her hand and foot (of course, it sounds like you did that, so YOU wouldn't have too!!!) and yet she still gives you the silent treatment here and there!!!

After our rest time we headed back to the bus stop. Decided that we would hop on the first bus that would get us to a park that had the monorail.....Epcot came first so we jumped on! We got to the monorail and there was only one person waiting to ride up front so we decided to get in line. She was waiting for others to join her so we got right on, Baylor was thrilled, Marc was thrilled and I was too! We got the "flats" out and took some pictures. The "flats and Baylor all got their co-pilot's license.

With just one transfer at the TTC we were on our way to the Grand Floridian with time to spare! We checked out the gift shop and I must admit I walked by Basin . This resort is just so.........well...........Grand! We needed to head down to the lower floor for our dinner and someone still had "cold feet"................

Since this is an official trip/pre-trip report, I need to take a minute to show some purchases for our upcoming trip! Baylor was really, desperately, in need of some luggage. I had been packing for him in a small rolling Disney Duffel bag, then putting the overflow in our bags. Not a good thing when my bag weight is usually within 1/2 lb of exceeding the limit . So I did some online shopping and found this for the little man!

I'm having some trouble finding just the right shirts for him at Disney Shopping but it seems that he can now wear an adult small, so I found these......

I also found a few for me, and if I remember correctly they were on sale!

Sorry about the wrinkles they were straight out of the bag....
Also Harper and Mimi needed towels!

I think I will put this in her Easter Basket, I have some really cute stuff for her!

OH MY GOSH, manpris!!!!! They even had the strings or whatever you ladies called them at the bottoms of them!!! Do tell was it really Shocker wearing them??? LOL

I don't blame Baylor for wanting to wait to get home to get a major haircut! Even "us" men have bad hair days (why so many of us slap on a cap and go) and who wants to risk that at Disney World?? Even if it means not getting your hair cut on Main Street??

We loved riding up front on the Monorail too!! We had a really young Pilot named Erich, only his third day on the job by himself, but he was awesome with the girls and we made a round trip just to enjoy the ride!! I hate to ask but what is "Basin"?

Baylor will be looking sharp toting his bags with all your bags inside them. Very cool looking luggage for the next trip, glad he has three bags and will be able to carry "some" of his stuff in them too!!!! LOL Barrie Lee would be sooo jealous of your Tink shirt's and I know Harper will be a doll on the Minnie towel, soaking up the sun!! I again noticed "nothing" for poor old Shocker!! Well, other than a t-shirt for YOU to wear that might make him smile, an Evil with Diva, that he can proudly say, yep that's my Bride!!! Just saying!!!

Keep it up, sitting on the edge of my seat to see how dinner turned out!!

P.S. glad to know Shocker had at least one day, that, when he wasn't running to get something "for" YOU and y'all were together, that he wasn't on the silent treatment!!!

Blesseddaddy, I must say that I make great sacrifices for my family members to enjoy themselves at Disney!
I will continue to wear the same old clothes that have been hanging in my closet for years so they can have the finest things they desire (except the rental car)!

First of all, no comment on the meal.........
No it wasn't Shocker wearing the manpris, but he is still looking for some.
It was probably for the best that Baylor saved the haircut for his very own barber, plus Vu (his barber) told him that he made a good choice in waiting!
Our pilot seemed.......well ........ bored with her job, but she did turn out to be quite friendly in the end
I'm glad you got to ride up front, this was a first for us, look at all you did on your first trip down!!!
Basin is a shop that sells good smelling bath related stuff, mmmmmmmmm! Tracy needs to check it out on your next trip!
Baylor will need all of that luggage space to take all of his clothes, plus what ever he purchases or I purchase will need a ride back to Kansas.
Does Barrie Lee love Tink too? Sorry about Shocker, he seems content wearing his Wichita State shirts plus his assorted Disney golf polos....

Hurray for riding in the front of the monorail -- it's really neat, isn't it?

Love all the new Disney purchases -- I have that same Tink shirt (the second one), but I really like the first Tink one and the Evil Queen one!

Well, I just sent the email home, so whatever the family decides we'll do. Child's menu isn't good, but we'll find something for Zeke there. I'm sure we can get the pasta with just a sauce or grilled cheese or something like that for him.
