It's snowing hard (for here ;)), and could accumulate 1"-2"! Sure is pretty! What's really funny is that yesterday it was over 70 degrees! Gotta love the weather in Texas!

That sound like something like weather would do in Tennessee. I love it sometimes that I could be shorts one day and next day need a winter coat.

Okay I don't what real weather coat. Then I live the South. Anything below 70 degrees is cold to us. LOL :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yes it is! We've got a few inches here! I think we are going to get several more!!:scared1:
Dh just went out to Wal Mart for more firewood. He's used to driving in the snow, but the rest of the people here...not so much.

It was really neat waking up to a White Christmas though.

All right what's up with your location about crappiest place. N Texas is a GREAT place to be.

It sure is pretty. I will enjoy it a lot more once my MiL gets here with my daughter. She is in E. Texas so at least she is not in the worst area.

Still waiting for the snow here in Dallas. It's supposed to switch over to snow within the next few hours.

It's really coming down in the Valley Ranch section of Irving. I have to drive home to the west side of the metroplex when I get off work. Going to be interesting!

LOL - you can keep it. I live in Buffalo & if I never saw a snowflake in my life I'd be OK with that!!!

At least the people in Buffalo know how to drive in it and the street departments can keep up with an inch or two of snow! :lmao:

My 6 year old has been hoping for weeks that it would snow for Christmas. I have told her over and over that it just doesn't snow in Texas in December. Once or maybe twice a year we get some snow and ice in January or February but hardly ever get real snow. In fact, I am 37 and I don't ever remember having snow for Christmas or Christmas Eve!

Both my children are so excited about Christmas and the snow has put them over the top! It just LOOKS like Christmas here!:goodvibes

Starting to stick on my side of the metroplex!:goodvibes

Funny, I had lunch on the patio at Uncle Julios yesterday. It has already been said on this thread, but, Gotta Love Texas Weather!

I can't believe we don't have snow for Christmas here in my part of Canada and you Texans are getting a white Christmas!:rotfl:

Fine by me, you guys can keep the snow as long as you like!:woohoo:

Here on the west side of Fort Worth it is coming down pretty good! The wind gusts so hard at times that the snow becomes horizontal. Starting to stick to the tree leaves, birdhouses, etc.

Hasn't stopped here! It's soooo pretty, the kids are loving it!

Merry Christmas everyone!!! :santa:

My dd wishes for snow every year. Since we go up north every other year she gets her wish every other year. She told me she wanted snow for Christmas this year (once again) and I said don't count on it..it was 70 degrees when I said that yesterday. Well here it is snowing away here too. Gotta agree, gotta love the Texas weather! :thumbsup2

It stopped snowing here in Irving...
So I was wrong...it just got lighter...and its still snowing!!

I"d be fine without the snow...I Just hope it's all gone tomorrow when I have to drive back into town...
