A "where can I find these kind of beds" question

This might be a slightly odd way to approach picking a resort, but here goes. I need either bunkbeds and a queen bed (AKL and WL, I think--any others?) or two queen beds and a trundle or rollaway (I'm pretty sure this excludes the values but what about any of the moderates)? Basically, I need three beds--even though we are only four people and theoretically we could sleep in two doubles or two queens, in reality whoever ended up sleeping with the 12 yo just would not get any sleep at all.

Thanks!

I think at all the moderates you can pay a little extra to have a roll away and then I am not sure (never stayed there before) but I think the suites at All Star Music are made for more than 4 people so you should have some extra beds there.

I know that Port Orleans has a trundle bed but I was told by Disney that a child over 10 or so would be pretty cramped sleeping on it.

The WL has bunk bed rooms, and POR Alligator Bayou section has the two beds plus a trundle which is the size of a single. If you are wanting three beds you could also consider a two bedroom at a DVC resort, either through CRO or through renting points. ASMu has the family suites and I'm sure there are other resorts out there that have two beds and a sleeper of some sort. I believe (going on memory here so take it with a grain of salt) that CR has two beds plus a sleeper sofa. I'd suggest checking on AllEars in the resort section and just scouring through all of them.

Moderates only have double beds and not queens. You can only get queen sized beds in Deluxe resort or DVC resorts.

Polynesian, BC, YC, BW, Contemporary, GF all have rooms with two queens and a day bed.

Thanks for the replies. Deb&Bill (or anyone else): are the rooms with the 2 queen beds and daybed at Polynesian, BC, YC, BW, Contemporary, GF some kind of conceirge or club level room, or just a standard room?

The 2 queen beds and daybed at Poly and Contemporary are in standard rooms. I'm not sure about the others.

The daybeds are in standard rooms at the GF, BW, BC, YC as well. Unfortunately, not all rooms have the daybed though. Some just have the 2 queens. Considering you are booking for 4 guests, it would have to be noted as a request. Families of 5 would naturally be given priority for that type of bedding. You may be better off with the WL or AKL bunk bed room. They are a bookable room category there and would be guaranteed.
