Not sure if I have that quote right... but I think you know what I mean. Was just wondering if anyone else feels this way. I'm going nuts here waiting/watching/checking for PINS!! But they seem to come when I'm not "watching".
So in spring 2009 I found the DIS, allears, etc when decided to plan our first family trip. I recall obsessing about free dining in Dec PINS once I learned about them. Ordered maps, saved a trip, got a Disney Visa... nothing. Then I go visit my parents in June and my mom says "Oh hey, I got this Disney thing in the mail. Was going to throw it out but saved it for you".... it was the Free Dining in Dec (before it was open to general public). OMG!
So I booked our trip (my parents joined us - since it was 4adults, 2 kids over 3 FD worked better for us).
We did not plan to go again until 2011 or 12 so I kind of drifted away from all things Disney. My youngest was born in April so I was a bit distracted
Then out of the blue last summer (I think June...) what comes in my regular mail but the Monster Inc PIN! Suddenly my Disney addiction resurfaces. I talked my DH into staying home with my two little ones so I could take my two older kids and Mom back this past Dec (40% off at BLT
).
So now I want to go back in 2011 with my two younger ones.... There is the decent general room only discount for spring but we all agree it's "too soon" and October would be better. BUT I'm driving myself nuts here hoping for a PIN!!
Checking the email I use for travel daily, checking the mailbox with anticipation every day. Then today I thought of the watched pot quote.... maybe I just need to NOT think about it for a while
Does this happen to anyone else??
