A waitlist question

I'm waitlisted for 2 nights at BWV in December (12/26 and 12/31). Can I book elsewhere for those 2 nights when the 7 month window opens, and then cancel if the waitlist clears? I'm just concerned about the banking deadline and the waitlist. Thanks!

Sure if there is something available. NYE is a very busy night to try and get.

I know, so I'm hoping that something will be available somewhere. If I book somewhere else and BWV becomes available that night, can I cancel the secondary reservation and take the waitlist at the BWV?

I'm going to try to book at BCV or BWV for a 1 or 2 bedroom for December 31st-January 4th at the 7 month window. You just made me realize there is no hope for these two resorts!

We were able to book BCV (studio) last year at the 7 month mark for NYE without problem so sometimes it's available.
