Today, for those keeping track is Tuesday, August 26th. This was our lazy morning day. Our plan was for a leisurely breakfast at Cape May and then the rest of the morning at SAB.
Still being called the Chip Killer I was a little nervous about breakfast as Chip and Dale are featured characters at the Cape May breakfast. I was hoping there would not be a repeat of lunch the day before. We headed down for our 9:30 ADR and were handed our buzzy thingy.
After a short wait we were buzzed and soon were seated. This was my first visit to Cape May for breakfast and the food was typical breakfast buffet, no puffy goodness. Soon the characters were coming around to say hello.
Everything was going fine.
And then I saw Chip, or was it Dale,
No, no it was Chip, and he was heading our way.
My heart started racing.
My palms were sweating.
Next thing I knew he was at our table.
He hugged Kelly.
Then he turned his attention to me.
GULP.
Then it happened.
He took my hand
And kissed it.
I was forgiven.
And with just a simple kiss yesterdays mishap was forgotten and we enjoyed the rest of breakfast.
We finished up and headed to the room to get ready to go swimming
I have to tell you, if ever staying at BC, take a morning to just go swimming, the place was deserted. We had such a great time, no wait on the slide, went in the hot tub, and then Kelly decided to teach me some cheerleader moves. OK, its been a LONG time since I was cheerleader, not quite so limber as I used to be, KWIM. Kelly just looked at me like this
and gave up.
We headed back to the room to get ready as Kelly had a BBB appointment and we also had a DIS meet.
We got to the MK with a little time to spare before the DIS meet, so we grabbed some Space FPs and made our way to Toon Town.
We visited with Minnie (it was so hot and crowded in that place)
Then went over to the Judges tent since we had a few minutes to spare before the meet at Toon Town train station. We arrived at what I thought was the meeting place and were shortly met by Jo and her family. Soon we spotted Waldo walking by with Evan and then had Tracy come over and to inform us we were in the wrong place. OOPS.
We joined the rest of the Dissers (except Janet who blew us off).
And let me say it was frickin hot, oh where was Fay.
As our Dismeet concluded it was time to head to the Castle as Kelly had a BBB appointment. She was really looking forward to it, though she had asked at one point if she had to get one of those dresses, she couldnt bear the thought of wearing one in that heat.
They were running a bit late but at least it was air conditioned and we had someplace to sit. Soon Princess Kelly was called in. The PP photographer was there quickly and I shooed him away. I had no intention of buying those pics and didnt want him in the way of me taking my own. I took a lot, but here are the good ones.
We had some time to kill before our dinner reservation in the Castle so we
headed over to Mickeys Philharmagic.
OK so here comes another verklempt moment, when Kelly started reaching out to the stuff on screen I thought it was the cutest thing EVER. I seen others write thats their reaction when their kids do it and honestly I never got it.
Now I do.
We headed back to the Castle to check in for dinner. We were shown in to the downstairs area where they take your pic. I opted to not be in it, I thought it was Kellys special time with Cindy. Kelly didnt object.
We were soon called upstairs and shown a window table.
Off topic one of my favorite memories is when Murph and I went on the 1994 trip and it was King Stephans Banquet Hall then. We had a window table and as we were eating the fireworks went off. Such a great memory.
Anywho, back to this trip. Kelly ordered the kids prime rib and I ordered the lamb chops. Now I wasnt expecting much, but let me tell you, this ended up being one of our favorite meals. The prime rib was perfect, as was the asparagus that Kelly got , but I ate. I loved the lamb chops.
Oh and the rolls and sweet honey butter they served with it. OMG, the butter alone would get me to go back. Does anyone know of another WDW restaurant that serves this butter!!!!!!! Boy I am still dreaming of that yummy butter.
Anywho, we finished dinner and headed out to get our ride on.
We still had those Space FPs so we headed there first and the Speedway, again. I think this is where it dawned on me. Kellys older sister is starting to drive, has her permit and it going for her license in January, I think Kelly is a little jealous.
We then headed back to Fantasyland and did the kiddie rides she stuck her nose up the previous Friday. We went on Tea Cups, Dumbo, the carousel, and Pooh. We were both getting tired so decided to head back to the hotel and call it the night.

Ah, ha! Good deducting, Aunt Zorg Chip Killer. 
what a good Auntie you are. I try to do it only once per trip and that is enough for me. kids just love it though!
