After lunch we headed to BC to check in, I had packed a tote bag with a couple of essentials so we could go swimming even if the room wasnt ready.
I think it was about 2pm when we checked in and not only was our room ready we had a choice. We took the one over looking the DVC quiet pool .
We checked out the room and went down to SAB as I knew the luggage wouldnt be there yet.
OK, I liked the room, but it is definitely smaller than BWV. As much as I love BC, have always been a fan, I am glad I picked BW for my home resort, I really struggled between BC and BW, but I no longer have doubts.
SAB was crowded but we enjoyed it and got to go down the slide a few times. (sorry no pics, took some later in the trip though)
We headed up to get ready for dinner and I called about the luggage, the woman at bell services said she would check and if it wasnt she would call back.
So I went ahead and took a shower and waited.
Garden Grocer called the cell and let me know my food delivery was there.
I called bell services again, no luggage and it was now 4, I had been told guaranteed delivery by 3pm.
I called again at 4:30. Oh they would call the GF to see what happened.
I remained calm but now I was getting annoyed, it finally showed up as Kelly and I were about to head out for dinner. It was now about 5:30. We had a 6:10 at 50s Prime Time.
With our luggage delivered we headed out to the dock to catch the S-L-O-W boat to the Studios. After a nice, but S-L-O-W boat ride we arrive at the Studios. At this point I was fumbling with something and wasnt paying attention. Kelly finally gets my attention and points out that we are walking past Jo and her family as they are running to catch the S-L-O-W boat. I quick wave hi and that was about that for that Focker encounter.
We headed into the park and HSM was in process by the big hat. We stopped and watched for a few and then headed to 50s Prime Time.
We waited for a few in the living room. I proceeded to give Kelly a history lesson. I showed her the encyclopedia set and explained that s what her father and I used as kids to do research as there was no computers or internet WAAAAAY back then.
She had a look of horror on her face, I could tell she was having trouble comprehending life back then.
We were soon called for dinner and were seated at the exact same table I had last time I ate here. I looked for my name on it and did not see it.
Soon our cousin came by to take our orders. She explained to Kelly about no elbows, etc. and Kelly got a little nervous and sat straight as a pin, she didnt want to get yelled at.
At some point during dinner I think someone sent a spitball across the table.
Cant quite recall who that was now.
You know maybe it was 2 spitballs.
Terrible what time does to ones memory.
Anywho, I had the pot roast and Kelly had the chicken nuggets.
I have to say I really enjoyed the pot roast. I do think the portions here are smaller then they used to be or maybe because free dining started today.
Soon we were given the viewfinder to choose our dessert. Kelly broke it, yes she did.
OK she didnt break it but I teased her that she did.
She ordered the kids sundae and I got me some smores.
OK its worth a trip here just to get some of these smores, I just love them.
We were both pretty tired and decided to call it an early evening and took the S-L-O-W boat back to the BC.
As we are waiting this little guy wanders over.
The woman behind us wants her daughter to get up close and personal for a pic. The daughter wants nothing to do with it. Mom is like, they dont bite.
Um, excuse me, I would like to share a story that happened to my friend over at Epcot a few months ago.
I told her how G-luv got bit on the butt by one. You should have seen them back away from that duck faster than, well, it was faster than I scarf down a piece of puffy goodness.
Next up I find Waldo
