A very soon and very short trip question

Hi all. We are planning a short vacation at a Florida beach in less than two weeks. My DH just said that we should at least spend a day at Disney. At first I said no (can't believe I did) because what could we plan and do at this short notice and for only one day. Now I am thinking of Sept. 17th either doing a day at the MK or the MNSSHP that evening (but not both). I am leaning towards the party (never did one) but I'd like your ideas. Thx

Yes, do the party! You will get to do everything you would want to do in MK plus have the bonus of the parade, fireworks, special meet and greets and a ton of candy!

Agree with the others. Do the party!! We had a day before our cruise last year and decided to add the party instead of a day in the parks. It was so fun, and added so much to our trip. Plus you don't have to worry so much about planning FP+ and line waits.

I would vote for the park, mainly just because there are so many things I enjoy there that I can do in one day. the party isn't that appealing to me. But if it is to you, new stuff can be fun

That's what I was thinking. I know I wouldn't get any great fastpass selections and it seems with the party you can't get them anyway.

There is a lot to do at the party. You may want to go to the official thread and check the schedule. If the characters are not of interest to you, then prioritize the rides you want to do. That's what we did. Plan on the second parade, and enjoy the trick or treating too.

I'm a big fan of parties for short trips because a party ticket is cheaper than a 1 day MK ticket. Plus you get all the extras.

Do MNSSHP, it's probably a better value than 1 day now. Also since you haven't done that yet

Yes do the party! cheaper than a 1 day base ticket and the parade and fireworks are awesome! I know years ago you could enter with your party ticket at like 4pm or so - not sure if that is still the case.
