A Very Lurkyloo Christmas is FINISHED! New 3/16: Last Day of the Trip!

I found the hidden mickey...i found the hidden mickey!!!!!

Can you find it?

I'm glad you enjoyed the Osbourne lights. That was my very favorite part of going to Disney in December!

Maybe they did a circle and it just popped out before you guys got back? :confused3 That happened to me all the time when I'd try and do towel animals at BW. The only "animals" I could ever do successfully were candy canes and fish.

(I somehow sprained my foot walking out of a vacant room one day; I think I tripped over the other one)

:rotfl2: That's so funny! It never occurred to me that there are varying levels of mastery in the art of towel-animal making. I'm sure about the only towel animal I'd be able to make is a bat ray (towel folded in half to make a triangle). :teeth:

Wonderful pictures of the resort, we have never been there. The rumpled bathmat of snow is very bad. Eww to the dancing fish. I like the carpet pictures.

Thanks for the kind comments! I am so glad to know you like the carpet pictures - now I'll have an excuse! "But Patrick, we need to post them for MrsKSomeday!"

The gag photo is hilarious. I loved the Illuminations photos too. I know you have probably said before but I forgot, what kind of camera does Patrick use, the pictures are wonderful.

He has a Sony HX-1. I'm noticing that all the pix I thought were too dark when I was posting in the afternoon look fine at night when the room my computer's in is finally dark. And the ones I lightened in Photobucket look bad! Guess I'd better only post at night....

“All right, SMILE, you piece of garbage!” - too, too funny!!!

Food looks yummy at Bluezoo. Except for the abalone. Hmmmm....you may have persuaded me that I need to fit this into our schedule.

Great shots of Osborne Lights. Continue to be amazed at the great nighttime shots Patrick keeps getting.

Loved the fountain shot with Patrick.:rotfl: Definitely worth the 15 min intermission.

And I think you win hands-down for the guess-that-towel-animal contest!

:cool1: Whohoo! What's my prize? Another towel animal? :cutie:

I found the hidden mickey...i found the hidden mickey!!!!!

Can you find it?

Wha....? :hyper: OK, now I'm gonna have to go back and look...

:rotfl: There are, actually :) I knew people at BW who could do these awesome little dolls and clowns and puppies and stuff and I'm all "...I suck at this."

:rotfl: What an awesome post!!

Talk about swanky!! That blue zoo place looks very posh (and it's even so posh, they don't have to capitalize blue or zoo - so there! :lmao:)

I loved your Osborne light pictures!! Just amazing!!!

Oh this trippie is bringing back all the memories of my December trip :lovestruc Your Osbourne pictures are fantastic. I still can't believe they were shot on a point and shoot.

I love all the bluezoo pictures too. I hope it encourages people to venture to a non-official Disney place. DH and I got the Cantonese lobster when we went, so I recommend it :thumbsup2

Can't wait for you to get to Jiko Mmmmmm

Your pictures are amazing. The Osbourne lights are so clear. Mine always come out blurry.

Your wedding album is amazing. I think I'm going to have to play around on that site.
Great update. We got to see the lights dance to Trans Siberia Orchestra too. Loved it!! Definitely makes me want to go back asap!

Great update! Love the meal at bluezoo. It sounds so wonderful, just like the last time you went. And for you to skip dessert....has that ever happened before???? :rotfl:

I like Patrick's pictures of the Osbourne Lights. I think they turned out great - Roots or not! It can get a bit crowded in there. Glad you went back when the crowds died down.

I'm glad you made it back to the Bluezoo. Too bad the cake was not as good as your remembered.

I love the Japan store too! I can spend a fortune there! I'm a Hello Kitty lover. And all of their other stuff is so cool too!

Everytime I see the sharks from "Nemo" I think :" Fish are friends, not food!"

The voice of the girl in the Playhouse show is recorded?

My friends always said I should do that for a living. You know, be that girl onstage lol

Too bad you guys don't live closeby. I would have asked your DH to come and speak to my students :)

Fantastic update, Carrie! You have been a busy, busy bee!

The Podcast? Amazing! You were a natural and very entertaining. I could hear the story of your engagement a thousand times. Next time, make sure you include your post engagement ride story! I love the post 'E' ride. I think we can turn that into a 'thing', ya know?

You book is droolworthy - I adore all the pics and can stare at them for many a happy day. So beautiful! You did a fan-frickin'-tastic job of putting it together.

And lastly? This post was riotous! Patrick @ the Swolphin with the camera - that would have endangered my laptop, had I been sipping a beverage when I read his quip. Your O-lights photos were gorgeous! Your "It tastes like soap" pic is now on my favorited list. And Patrick's gag photos kill me. I had to interrupt DH to show it to him. A very giggle-filled post.

Thanks!

Why can't the class work I need to read be as much fun as this??? Carrie...I think your next writing venture should be in updating textbooks :rotfl:

Off to complete some really boring training...GRRR...

I hope there is more when I'm done...it would be a great reward! (you have 3 hours...):thumbsup2
