I found it interesting that Jessa if she found a big diamond, she would sell it and buy a Cadillac Escalade!

I caught the show on again the other night and one of the other girls said that that they would buy a Hummer. I didn't notice that when I first watched the show. I can't remember which girl but I think it was the blonde one...maybe the oldest daughter?

Yeah, I was surprised too especially seeing that they have limited TV and internet access to know the "brands" out there. I also saw one of the girls wearing an Aeropostale sweatshirt...not sure if they really care about that brand or it was just something they bought used. I think they tend to mainly buy used clothing other than what they make themselves?

Just reading the link that was posted above - I found the post by Anna's BIL very interesting.

I did disagree with some people who thought that Michelle was being a good parent to Johanna when she made her stay home rather than come sign up for the Christmas parade bc it wasn't her day to spend time w/ Mom and that is part of learning and disappointment. I mean, first she drove away with the kid standing behind the van which I took to be dangerous, then I mean the little girl wanted to be w/ mommy. I felt so bad for the little girl.

I was giving them the benefit that it was a used sweatshirt - or one of cousin Amy's that the girl was wearing.

Notice that it is brands of cars though. Being that a car dealership is a "family business" (well, the brothers) and they do travel a lot, I could see why they would know car brands. The sweatshirt, I agree, could very well be a used item...there's some good second hand shops out there.
