A Very Chit-Chat Thread

The baby has dropped but he said not quite all the way. He was going to do something today to try and get things going, but he said the baby just wasn't quite low enough yet, but almost. No bleeding, but with these cramps, I feel like I should be, lol.

And it's ok Michele, I appreciate the concerns! :goodvibes

My due date is only two weeks away, but I am hoping for sooner!

Chances are the cramping is caused by the baby moving into position. When I got close with my kids and got uncomfortable I was told by the dr that the baby was just getting me ready.

That could be it. Even though he is still moving lots, his movements feel a little different today, so that very well could be it. I am hoping it's not too much longer now. I don't want to be feeling like this for another 2-3 weeks!

When you think about how long you have been pregnant 2-3 weeks will seems like nothing.

Very true! And if it doesn't happen this week, the doctor said they were going to try something at my appointment next week that might help bring it on a little sooner. I hope it does.

Maybe he is getting ready now.

Hello ladies.

Andrea, Is it getting close?? I am so excited for you.:goodvibes

I know this is an uncomfortable stage, but it is worth it. You will see your little man soon. Name yet?????:goodvibes

Pregnancy and birth is an AMAZING thing!

I don't have kids but in school I saw many deliveries and helped with some! I for awhile wanted to be an L&D nurse so that is the area I did my final clinicals in.

My first job ended up being in MedSurg which it turns out I LOVE so feel blessed to have gotten that job.

I float to the Mother-Baby unit so I can still play with the babies but that is after they are born and stable :)

I have a friend who is a neonatal nurse and she loves it. I am not sure I could be a nurse. I figure that in so many ways I already am.

I think all moms are nurses and with the health issues you have had I am sure you learned a lot!

I'm good. I hate my husbands job. They see him more then me. He has been there 12 hours now. He's on salary, so no overtime. I hate it, he doesn't get paid enough for this crap.

That is no good! Salary jobs bite in my opinion!

Scotty always works a 12 hour day, but thankfully he isn't on salary. A good part of his pay is overtime. I know how hard it is. Especially if he works other days.

I always find it amusing when the dr will say that they need one thing or another and I already have it. I have always kept everything around the house that we might need.

Morning! My dog woke me up at 5:30 this morning so no sleeping in for me :sad2:

Oh well. I work tonight so it means a nap later today anyways.
