Yeah they have. I am hoping with the gas prices going down the rest of the prices will.

Sorry to bother you but I'm way up north and wondering what is the best time of the year to schedule a trip to Disney? I am considering it and don't know when it is best to plan one. Thanks!!

I've only been in October, November/December so I can't help you much. Try the main Disneyland Board... There are questions about the same thing being asked and answered there all the time!

Paula, I'm trying to become a dispatcher/911. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. It's hard because they aren't a lot of openings and the competition is pretty intense. At the first phase of the one I'm going for right now, there were over 200 people who showed up, I was in line stretching down a couple blocks. It's been narrowed down quite a bit, but they don't tell you how many are remaining :confused3

I'm good. I hate my husbands job. They see him more then me. He has been there 12 hours now. He's on salary, so no overtime. I hate it, he doesn't get paid enough for this crap.
That was the deal when I worked in IT. :sad2: It sucked, they pretty much expected you to work those 10-12 hour days, 40 hours/week was the absolute bare minimum, you'd get a really low performance appraisal. Yeah, salary was pretty good, but it was kind of scary when you broke it down per hour, it really wasn't *that* good.

Wow Tania! That sounds like a tough job! Good Luck!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around for a bit. Just busy getting things ready. Also been really uncomfortable the last few days, so haven't felt up to doing too much. Getting kinda bummed out maybe. Hope you are all doing well! :goodvibes

Hi everyone! I finally have a moment to check in after my DLR trip Friday!
Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights I have gotten 4 hours of sleep on each night. But it was all worth it for a fun weekend! :goodvibes

The ST preview was fun!! Even though they did a soft open later in the afternoon, it was fun to experience a preview like that! & we got some cool pins :thumbsup2 We stood by some really cool people in line so the time flew by! They were giving out free coffee & hot chocolate too :)
Got there at 5:45 and rode the ride around 9:30. Then rode it again around 4 that afternoon. I LOVE the new and improved version! We got different stuff both times we rode so it was cool. At the preview, when we entered the room with C3PO and R2D2 before you get on the ride, everyone was sooo quiet and taking TONS of video and pictures! It was nice to be surrounded with people obsessed with Disneyland and the Star Tours ride and who were really excited to be there.
Such a different atmosphere from my last visit during Spring Break. And I was pleasantly surprised to see manageable crowds at DL for it being a Friday. Longest wait was 60 for Space & Indy but most stuff was 40 or less. Compared to Spring break when the lines were 60-120 mins on all rides, I thought it was great!
I think I am off to catch up on some sleep :)

Morning!

I started following back in the chat thread and it sure has gotten quiet!!

Good Morning. No we have been rather boring haven't we?

Thanks for fielding that. I have no clue. I just go whenever the mood strikes me.

Good luck with that. I considered it for a while and made it pretty far into the interviews but not all the way.

Oh that is another thing. Kerri got a new job.

Is the job market as bad there as it is here in California? Our job market just stinks.

A trip to see Liza sounds great. Why on earth would your ex ban you from seeing her?
