Hi Laurie!! Yes, they are both amazing!! They have a menu full of great sounding drinks. And if you or Mike have a birthday within two months of going you can sign up for their birthday thing and you get a really good gift card.

I used my Birthday certificate at Catal! It was So YUMMY!!

Why is it so hard for me to paint my own nails???
No matter what I do, it never turns out good.

I can't do mine either... but then I haven't tried in probably at least 10 years.

I'm not girlie enough for nail polish.....lol I used to wear it but I think over the years.....I'm lucky to get my hair washed....let alone do my nails....so I just don't even think about it anymore.

This is me! I get my hair done a couple times a year and thats it.

OK, anyone wanna help me brainstorm costume ideas for October? So far the only idea I have is Lillian Gracey:

Everyone's favorite tightrope ballerina. But I'm not so sure how to make the hair work, lol. I don't really want to do anything too involved I guess. I'm just stumped right now.

I need a costume idea too!!!

I have no clue on a costume.... I have my Mickey shirt and Sorcerers hat I wore last year...

I've had the Nachos at Tortilla Jo's and my Birthday meal at Catal. I will discuss that in my trip report when I get that far... (Ummm... I should work on that huh?!?!)

I color my hair but only because my hubby likes it red lol. I am considering going back natural but I have quite a bit of gray so not sure on that...

Have you ever looked atTorrid for their costumes? They are kind of a different "plus size" store. They have such cute things even my 18 year old likes them. And although she is not a classic plus size part of her is.


Oh you need to try White Water Snacks. They have a great breakfast too. Their potatoes are awesome.

I have never been into dressing up and stuff, so I don't think I would wear a costume to the Halloween party. Last year I just wore my Mickey ears. I am boring, I know.

Today I went and got all my hair chopped off. Seth has been grabbing it a lot lately, and it really hurts when he does that! Plus when it gets to a certain length, it starts looking stringy and gets so knotty, so getting it cut short makes things so much better. I am never satisfied forever though. When it's short I want it long and when it's long I want it short!

How are you this evening?

I am good. A little depressed. Dillon has to do some travelling next week for his job and is going to be gone for 3 days. I have the option of going with him, but that might be a lot of work with Seth, plus we go on another long trip the week after! But I also don't know if I am ready to have 3 days of being by myself with Seth. Maybe if his gassyness wasn't getting him so upset all the time, but he is a handful the last week or so. Plus I always get a bit of anxiety when Dillon has to go away for any overnight stuff. But it's an extra $1200 just before Disneyland, so I should learn to suck it up, but I can't.
