A Very Chit-Chat Thread

OK, anyone wanna help me brainstorm costume ideas for October? So far the only idea I have is Lillian Gracey:

Everyone's favorite tightrope ballerina. But I'm not so sure how to make the hair work, lol. I don't really want to do anything too involved I guess. I'm just stumped right now.

I was thinking more like Wendy for you because of your love of Peter Pan.

If you pull it away from your face with a bow that would work.

Ohhh I like your idea Jessica! It's hard to think up good Disney related costumes because you don't wanna do what everyone else is doing. I always try to think up creative ways to be Ariel but I don't think there are very many.

On a side note I know what I am doing tomorrow! (hint, it involves my nails and me not doing them ;)) :rotfl: In other words, my last attempt failed. You know, they have those Sally Hansen nail strips and they work really well! I have them on my toes right now! They are kinda pricey, but it would be what you'd pay to get them done a a nail salon anyway. I wanted to be creative with my finger nails and do some with the Sally Hansen strips (which are patterned), and some solid. But I think now that I am going to get them done, I wanna see if the lady can do some Mickey heads on a few nails. :goodvibes

My only "creative" idea for that is to try and make the sailcloth "dress" :rotfl: Or that sparkly dress at the end when she finally gets her legs for good. That's the extend of my creativity.

I do kind of want to think of something not too many others will have. It's so hard though. I am willing to make my own costume though. I even told my mom I'd let her teach me how to sew.

You know what else I like? Ariel's blue dress from the tour of the kindgom. All I would need is a red wig and I could make the dress.

Jillian, the Mickey on your nails is a cute thought.

Jessica, too bad there isn't an easy Snow White look for you.

I have a gift card for a pedicure, and i was going to use it the week before we go on our trip to get it done as well as my nails. I was thinking of seeing if they would do mickey heads too.

I promise I wont mind! Actually, now that I really think about it, I really want to do that one.
Cool!!! I can't wait to see it!

Yeah, but they look creepy. Haha.

Haha, i have never seen them on an actual person. But it is a unique hairstyle that might not look that great on everyone I guess. A long red-head wig probably won't look as weird because it's just a basic hairstyle.

Yeah, I figure if I get a long red wig maybe my cousin will be nice and help me style it and lend me her mannequin head thing. That could definitely work. I just actually have to make the dress.

Good luck! You are brave for making it yourself.

I don't think I can buy it anywhere, lol. My mom's gonna have to help me big time though. If I knew anyone else who could sew I'd ask them for some help, lol. I just hope I can do it any justice. But that should be easy enough, right? Well, by "easy enough" I mean for me to get ready before the party.
