A Very British Trip Report - Update on Grandma

Firstly, I have to say a big thank you to everyone who has posted or e-mailed me with good wishes for my mum.

The good news is that she has left hospital and returned home.
She is still not 100% and will have to return in 6 weeks for a biopsy on her kidney, but she is very glad to be home.

Her pain is greatly reduced and she is much more comfortable than she was. Hopefully things will clear up completely in their own good time.

Once again, thank you all very much for all the pixie dust sent her way. I had to shovel it from her front path, it was several inches deep!
I did keep a small bagfull for myself just in case of emergencies in the future, it's powerful stuff you know.

Certainly Shirley.

Mum has had her biopsy on her kidney cyst and is getting better every day.
I have to take her to the hospital again on Friday for more tests, but she is looking (and feeling) much better.

The problem with my mum is getting her to not do too much. She is already rushing around and doing bits and pieces of work.
There's no point trying to stop her, in fact she enjoys having lots to do.
