Oh, if only that last part were true. By now, Sir, you must know that Kevin dragged us into the Hollywood Hooters to shop--for YOU. It was the longest 30 minutes of my life.

And it wasn't 30 minutes.
It was 17 minutes and 38 seconds. Not that I was keeping count.

Obi, we were not travelling Upper Class. I have used UC when travelling with work, but I'm far too tight to pay out that sort of dosh myself!
Economy all the way for us.

But Susan surely he deserved some respite after spending the rest of his holiday shopping with women?

Not sure it takes 30 mins to purchase a pin somehow, so don't think I can be held responsible for the visit.

I wouldn't have thought that 30 mins was enough time to even have a starter, let alone some lovely wings - he was obviously missing my morale support, and got out voted.

a great start, can't wait to read this as DH and I are considering a California trip....it was to be next year but I don't think we can drag ourselves away from Florida just yet

We are playing a CD that I made that has every California song we could think of. Is This The Way To Amarillo has found it’s way onto the CD purely based on the fact that Tam thought Amarillo was in California. I had to gently point out that she was thinking of Camarillo. Well, actually it wasn’t very gentle as I killed myself laughing.

Perhaps this was Tam's way of saying "A trip to Texas, to see our good friends Sharon and Evan, is due."
