A Two Short, Too Different Spring Break Trip (Time to Say Goodbye)

That's a cute duck MeMom.........:goodvibes

He is a pretty good looking fella, and he was quite willing to pose for me.
I think seeing Disney's feathered-friends is a cool part of any trip.
I haven't had any problems being attacked or anything yet.

Love the Go Away bear! I think Connor should have one outside his room. :rotfl:

See, I was thinking it would be the other way around. I figured it would be Chelsea telling Connor to go away.
For now.
Give her two more years, and she'll be telling everyone to go away!

Dut! Dut! :goodvibes

I like Kay's pin - very cute. I love all your pics of BTMRR...it's such a fun ride!

It was a cute pin. She thought it was fun to just let fate decide which pin she should get. I think she gave it to her grandson when she got home.

Torture.... to have to go back and find out the surprise and catch up on all the pics. I must admit to having a tear or two as I thought to myself I just saw that!

Yea for the WL.... love that place! I am sure that will make the blues of the trip winding down less knowing that is where you will end. BTW split stays are an adventure... especially if you don't plan them!

I do the same thing upon returning from a trip. I look at pictures and think, "We were just sitting right there eating last week!" or whatever. It is torture. It's good that we can have this kind of torture, though.

Sounds like maybe you could have a surprise of your own going, too. Everyone is waiting to know about your new favorite resort and if you bought DVC!

Ok so since I posted the picture of the human capsule, I guess it's only fair that you posted the duck picture. So I forgive you. We're even.

That sweet little duckie can't compare to that human chamber of death! I owe you at least one more duck (I'll make it a baby) and maybe a seagull for us to be even!

I love that there are clues everywhere!!!

I'm ready to hear the big news!
As much as I would love it, I don't think we'll be coming back from our trip with any DVC news.

Thanksgiving Day is one of the most famous holidays we celebrate with out family; it’s one of the most precious times we bond with our kids and relatives, time to give thanks for all the blessing we got.

True that. Thanksgiving in Disney World would be a great family time!

Thanks for all the pictures Memom. There is surely a lot to see if you slow down. Maybe I will consider doing that one day. I have a friend who would love to have some of Herrick's Vegetable Pills. She has a new baby and he has colic. He cries A LOT. She has hardly gotten any sleep in 3 1/2 months. My 13 year old daughter would love to have that Go Away bear for her room to try and keep her 6 year old brother out.

Since you asked to see our DC trip pics, I will post some of them here. Hope you enjoy.

Splash AND BTMRR -- awesome! We do those back-to-back whenever possible.

I don't think they were doing the mystery pins on our trip. Hopefully they will be the next time we go.

I can't believe you're leaving for your next trip in just 29 days. I'm going down the Cape with my boyfriend's family for a week in about 2 weeks, and then going to see RENT with my best friend the day after we get back -- just six days before you leave for your trip. I'm excited to have something to look forward to when I'm trying to get used to being back at work and not having anything big to look forward to. BUT, my dad said a few days ago that we need to start planning a trip back to Disney, so hopefully I'll have some good news about that eventually. :goodvibes

Love the pictures; especially the zoo pictures and the pictures from Arlington Cemetary. We're going August 13-18 and I'm in the process of putting together our itinerary.

Great Dc pics. that is one place I have not been and really want to go.
MeMom you guys are going to have so much fun on the 30th. Happy Birthday in advance! Whichever park we are at will depend on my DD. It will probably be a mommy and daughter quick trip as a reward for what a great big sister she has been so she will choose. I hope we can meet closer than last summer. :0)

My pleasure!

This trip I'm going to see if I can find a sign and a pill for knee pain!

That's the first thing that came into my mind when I saw the bear - big sisters and little brothers!

Thank you very much for sharing the pictures. I know that was an awesome trip! It's one I want to take someday. Jill and Trent have been. Trent has been twice. I teach my students about these things, so I need to see them for myself!

Maybe you can give jillyb advice about her upcoming trip, too!

Maybe we'll let Brooklynn pick a mystery pin this time. She'd probably like guessing what it might be and then seeing the results.

Your dad is a wise man! It is time to start planning the next trip!

I hope we can keep your days happy with many pictures and Disney adventures.

Have fun on your Cape trip and seeing RENT!

Maybe I will start coating milk crates in honey -- it might keep the puppy from chewing on my furniture! :headache:

Are you talking about Nala?
She said you can buy her new furniture and you guys can sit on the milk crates!

Awesome! I would love to go to DC, and I'd really love to go to the zoo. You will have to do a mini-trip report when you get back!

It was great seeing Eeyore mine for jewels, and I love the bear.

Eeyore was happy that I remembered him on Magic Kingdom day. Poor guy!

You can just let us know when she decides. I'll PM you our cell numbers, and you can call us and let us know. We'd love to meet you!

How old is your daughter?

Yes, I was referring to Nala who seems to think the furniture exists to be her chew toys. Grrrr.

We will be reduced to sitting on milk crates at the rate she is going.

My pleasure!

I sent her a PM yesterday with info since I didn't want to take over your TR. :flower3:

I bet Mark really enjoyed DC, didn't he? Seems like he would be a great age for this. Was this their first trip?

The mommy and baby picture is just precious!

Well, you can pretend like you're back in college again! Milk crate seats, milk crate tables, milk crate shelves...

Good. I'm sure you were of help to her. If you have any top 3, 5, or 10 tips though, feel free to share here for others who may have future trips.

Next we went to see the Tiki birds.

While we were waiting, Jill called. She said she had been calling, but I didn't hear the phone. We had only talked for a minute when the doors opened and it was time to go in.

After the Tiki birds, we went back in time to the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. I remember this movie well from childhood and always thought it would be the neatest thing to live in an island treehouse. We (kids in the neighborhood) used to play Swiss Family Robinson when we were young.

Back at the hub, we came upon the new interactive parade, Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It!.

This parade was only one month old, so I had never seen it. Brooklynn will love it! She will be dancing like a madwoman in the streets with her Disney friends! :cheer2:

I've actually started on a PTR! :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm not sure if I can post it here on the PTR forum since it's not a WDW vacation. :confused3

She is 10 and my son is 15 months. I hope it works out. :0)

Great pics MeMom...we missed the Tiki Room and I'm thinking both kids would have like it...oh well, there is always next time!

Daisylove, your kids are adorable!

Ahhh more birds  Actually, fake ones I can handle so thats ok.

I really loved the new parade at the MK. I love the dancers in the street and being that I danced for 13 years, I'm envious of them because I wish I was doing their job! Brooklynn's going to dance her little feet off with them :thumbsup2
