scumscream....
Before you know it, Caleb will be inventing his own words for things. Be sure to write them down and/or video him, because it is sweet. Between all three of my kids and now Brooklynn, I've heard some crazy stuff, but I've forgotten so much of it until something sparks my mind. I distinctly remember Drew calling his big toes his thumb toes.
Jill,
You have two very cute little girls. Bella is growing fast. "Scumscream" is too funny.

I love to hear little ones talk. My littlest one is six now so he doesn't sound like a toddler anymore. However, the other day we were talking about sour kraut. Later he was playing with play-dough and fixed me some food. He brought it to me and said, "Here is your holy crap." I took me a minute to realize that he had made me some sour kraut.
Two months! I can't wait to hear all about it.
Play-Doh food is so good, because it is prepared with love!
I guess you can just hope he doesn't fix any 'holy crap' for his teacher!
Now we can start saying two months from today,
we'll be waking up in Disney World!
Yeah the toddler talk is quite humorous. This morning she informed me "I can't know how to find my socks." She is also getting to the age where some of her friends are saying things like "stupid" and "butt" She knows that we are not allowed to say those things so when she hears someone say it she always looks at me and says "We can't say butt or stupid (whichever applies). That is not very nice." Too which I always reply right. We were in the car a few days ago and John and I were talking about where we needed to go next and he said "But I need to go to Lowe's first." She flew all over that. "Mommy, Daddy said butt. We don't say that it is not very nice." So then I had to try and explain the difference between butt and but to my two year old.
And until you are around a two year old, you don't realize how often you say stupid.

I caught myself last night, but she was watching TV, so I don't think she caught it.
Very funny.

Brooklynn seems like so much fun. I miss that age. Time goes by way too fast.
I hope you and Memom enjoy your time together.
We have so far. Yesterday was fun, and then we just had supper at home and watched TV last night. Today, Brooklynn gets to stay hom from school, so we'll see what the day holds for us.
I love the Brooklynn stories!!!
MeMom, have fun with all your girls today!
I have today and tomorrow of post-planning and then I will be able to say, "It feels so good to not go to school today!"
Those are busy days. If you are like us, they mean mountains of paperwork.
I only get to say the no school thing for today and two more days, however, since summer school starts Monday. At least that is only for four weeks and half-days.
I love the stories also. My boys are getting older and I miss the way they used to talk. Now it's all about bodily functions, gross stuff and bugs.
Being with third-graders all day, I know exactly what you mean. If the conversation can be turned into someting gross, they will do it!
That is just too cute. Your girls are so adorable... Tell Brooklynn I said hello... and that I wear scumscream every day...
We will tell her, and I can almost assure you that every time she hears your name after that, she will tell us that you wear your scumcream every day. That girl remembers everything!
Brooklynn is too funny! I think "scumscream" might be my new favorite word!
Did you guys manage to talk her into going to Chuck E. Cheese?
She gladly came along. I guess there was nothing really exciting happening in toddler world at the moment.
That is too cute! Your girls are adorable. Memom wanted me to post my thoughts on Puckett's in Franklin. We had a fabulous time. This was our 3rd time and I have never been disappointed in the food. The servers have so much fun with the kids. Abby and another girl got on the stage and they even brought out the microphones (not turned on) and turned on the spotlights for them. A really great family place. I got the famous cheeseburger and it was so yummy. I've also had the pulled pork with veggies (meat and three), and the homemade corncakes. It is a great place to go and then stroll around the shops. They have a great toy store on the square!
We will be trying Puckett's out, then! Sounds like a great morning activity.

at Brooklynn, between scumscream and buts, I don't know how you keep a straight face when talking to her!
It looks like Chuck E Cheese was a hit! My kids love the pizza there, Ryan and I always find somewhere else to have dinner instead.
I've had their pizza before, and it was fine, but this place - the pizza not only wasn't good, it was really kind of gross tasting. It went into the trash. We pretty much paid for drinks and tokens.
It looks like you had a fun filled day with MeMom and the girls! It's amazing how empty Chuck E Cheese is during the week!

I LOVE blue ice cream!
The kids here are not out of school yet, so it was a good day to go.
She marched right to the
blue ice cream. Too bad they don't make an extra small size, because that's what she needed!
So cute so fun! Thanks for sharing your day... and the scumscream story, sounds familar to some conversations we have had at our house.
I'm sure it is very familiar. Write down as much as you can. I wish I had written down all the funny, silly, and crazy things my kids had said so that I could enjoy them still.
What a fun day! Love the cute pics of the girls. Jill, you are mighty skinny for just having a baby! Have a fun visit!!
It's been fun!
Jill is skinny.
I used to be skinny like that, but man did I blow that! Somewhere under my layers, there's a skinny girl waiting to be set free!
What a great day! I love the picture where Brooklyn is playing in the fountain and the lady in the blue shirt is watching her and smiling. The kid in the stroller is looking at her with a wistful "I wanna play in the water too" look.
There were several older people sitting around the fountains watching the little kids play. There was one man who so wanted to join them. He kept talking to the little ones and showing them how to step on the hole or hold their hands out to catch the water. I think if his wife had given him permision, he would have been right in there with them!
Looks like you had Chucky Cheese all to yourself. Seems like you all had a great time.
That's why we decided to go today. The troops will be freed from the bondages of school soon, and it will be packed for the rest of the summer!
I love this! Cracks me up! I love the way little kids talk!
I'm sure you have some Hannah stories to tell, too. And it'll get even better when she and Owen are carrying on conversations together.
Looks like you had a fun trip to Chuck E. Cheese! Love the blue ice cream!
Brooklynn loved it, too. SHe loved it on her chin, down her dress, dripping off of her spoon, and down to the floor!
We did a thorough cleaning job of the floor and table before we left, just in case the next person who came along didn't love blue!
Oooh, Chuck E. Cheese! Reminds me of the good ol' days!
Yep, I took many trips there with my kids for parties and just with friends.
I loved the pictures from your outing to Chuck E Cheese i have never been there! The picture of Brooklynn looking at the water through the fence looks like she's standing at the balcony of her mansion in South America haha! Thats what it reminds me of
You should give it a try someday. David would love the one token video games, probably, and they have skee ball, which is fun for everyone.
If she ever gets a mansion, it would be nice if she has it in, let's say...the Orlando area!
Could she have two? One in Hawaii might be nice!
Brooklynn had a look of pure joy when she saw her
MeMom.
Both girls looked as cute as ever! Sweet little Bella in her carrier.
Chuckie Cheese is a fun place for kids, but I agree the pizza is blah.
We don't have any here.
Brooklynn sure does love her blue ice cream.
Is Maggie Moos where they mix the ice cream infront of you? I think I saw that on Oprah. Yummy!
So I never made it to work, I did go to a Chiropractor and she wants Xrays done tomorrow and then she will be able to tell me something.
I'm so happy to at least maybe have a better clue of what's going on.
I'll tell you a funny story.....
When I went to pay for my Chiro visit the doctor sugested I purchase a gel to put on my neck or I could use a bag of frozen peas. Okay, I chose the gel, no brainer. I go to pay and the lady says that will be $198.

I tried to not look shocked, and stayed cool. In my head I was thinking that's expensive gel because the visit was only $80. I thought to myself at this point I will try anything so I just handed her my card with a smile. I entered my pin number and was relieved to see it was only $100.98.

When we got outside my DMom said "that gel must be made of gold", I laughed and told her how much it actually was. We had a good laugh at that.
Bella just rides along in her sling quite happily. You just see little legs sticking out and a big hat totally covering her face and head.
I hope the chiropractor can get you all fixed up!
We have pictures of Brooklynn with her stuff to put up later. She loved the Minnie shirt and played the music on it several times over. As Jill was explaining about all the things from Canada, she would sing
Canada from the
Oh, Canada song, and Brooklynn would laugh! She sings along with the song to the Epcot CD in the car.
At Maggie Moo's, you pick your ice cream and then pick your add-ins and they mix it there. I got butter pecan with no add-ins, Jill got chocolate with Snickers, and Brooklynn got blue with nothing extra.
