A Two Short, Too Different Spring Break Trip (Time to Say Goodbye)

i hope that bella is a good sleeper. Caleb is still up several times a night but at least now he can for the most part go back to sleep on his own. He is not a napper though...my mil said he did not take one nap while she had him yesterday!

Too cute about brooklyn going to show Bella around Disney World.

Thank you for the update Memom. Can't wait to see pictures. I hope Jill gets to feeling better today. Becareful on your drive back home today.

We plan to eat at Teppan Edo for dinner (we kind of know the President of that country ) on the 28th, Cape May buffet breakfast on the 30th, and Whispering Canyon for late lunch on the 1st.

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: I'll make sure that things are in place for your arrival! ;)

I have sure enjoyed this week of being a stay-at-home-MeMom! :lovestruc

Have a good...What day is this?..oh yeah... Wonderful Wednesday, all!

Happy Wednesday, MeMom! I know the feeling -- I have enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom this week while on spring break!

Have a safe drive back today and hopefully the boys have kept the house relatively neat and tidy.

Brooklynnsmommy feeling better today?

Great meal choices, we have most of the same ones planned. :thumbsup2

How do you know the president? Of what country?

Brooklynn sounds so sweet discussing her and Bella at MK. :dumbo:

I'm sure your boys didn't make that much of a mess.....:rotfl:

Your students will be so excitted to see you back and hear all about the new baby. :)

Lexi's birthday went well yesterday. She is now 9yrs....:cool2:

She had a "Littlest Petshop" theme. My DMom did a fantastic job of the decorating while I was at work. Very cute.
She was happy with her many gifts. She got lots of LPS pets, LPS backpack, LPS books, LPS Monopoly, LPS activity books + stickers, LPS bubble bath.

She also got the rare Build a Bear....white tiger straight from Las Vegas (bought by a kind co worker who went during March break).
And the BAB Disney Belle & Jasmine outfits. Those were hard to get off Ebay, but I luckily found them. :woohoo:

We went to the cinema to see Monsters vs. Aliens in Imax! Funny movie! We ate there and had New York Fries poutine, yummy!

No cake, but we did stop for McDonalds ice cream after the movie. ;)

Tonight we will eat cake #2 this week.....:rotfl2:

Good news, I should get my new dryer today........:yay:........It's finally off of backorder!.......:yay:

:laundy: It's rained and snowed here for days so we couldn't put clothes on the line.

Nicole, this is for you from Brooklynn:

Thank you for my Michael-Sulley card. I'm eating watermelon.

These stand for Brooklynn.
bbbbbb

These stand for Bella. vbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

These are the smiley faces she wanted to give you.

:scared1::santa:pirate::santa::sad2:

The v got in there because it is very close to the b.

Thanks for the sweet card for Brook!

I love your gushing! It's wonderful to hear updates on everyone. I will be praying Bella does not have reflux like Brooklyn, and that Jill heals quickly, and, of course, that everyone gets some GOOD rest. :goodvibes

I think cooking/cleaning for the family is the best gift. I was so, so grateful for meals made for us and I just had to warm them up in the oven or microwave. No thinking required!

By the way, we just booked our after Christmas trip this weekend. We'll be at Pop Century again to ring in the New Year. We're planning on seeing awesome fireworks from the Poly beach on New Year's Eve! Let us know if any of you will be there, too, so we can meet.

I haven't fully announced this on my TR, since I was saving it for my PTR, BUT I WILL BE THERE! :yay: Our trip got moved from mid-December to being over New Year's! When I read your comment above I looked and Henry and said "YOU GET TO MEET BROOKLYN, BELLA, JILL AND MEMOM!" He's pretty excited. ;)

Is the Poly beach the best place to watch the New Year's fireworks? Sure seemed like a great place last year over the webcam!

Sometime in the next few days I am going to see how many days we have on our countdown, when I can gather up enough of a brain to be able to count. Maybe someone can do it for me. We leave July 25th. :)

As of today you have 108 days to go. Almost in the double-digits already. :thumbsup2

Aw the response from Brook was so cute! I wish I was eating watermelon, lol!

Haha, Brookie cracks me up. See, she's learning from the best! She's already in planning mode! :thumbsup2 all the things she calls characters, I'm going to think of when I see them on our trip! And, I hear ya on the world record of not watching a movie that long. It's a big deal when you don't have to watch the same thing over and over and over. My little guy was in a Shrek phase FOREVER. Then it was George of the Jungle. Then it was Monsters, Inc. Then it was Nemo. Now, it's The Land Before Time-all of them :headache:.

Jill,

I am glad you are home with your girls and I hope you feel 100% soon.

Memom,

It is so great that you got to be with Jill, Brooklynn and Isabella during this time, I know it means so much to them. Already on the Dis? She is starting early.

I hope you all get rested and enjoy your two beautiful girls.

Jill, Glad that you and Bella are home....I hope that she keeps sleeping well for you!

This will be a very quick update because it is almost time for Isabella to eat again. I've been loading pictures while I ate lunch so now it is time to share.

Brooklynn and I ate breakfast together Sunday morning - banana for her ice chips for me!

Our last picture as a family of three

Brooklynn got to play on the playground down by the cafeteria with MeMom, Bubby and Jarvis while I was stuck in bed waiting for Isabella.

Brooklynn listened to Isabella's heartbeat on the monitor.

Isabella finally made her appearance at 1:10 weighing only 7 lbs and 14 ozs which was smaller than anticipated.

John went and got Brooklynn so she could meet her little sister before everyone else came down (except our photographer MeMom of course)

Now a family of four

Isabella brought Brooklynn a present - a Cinderella dress, tiara and earrings.

She put them on and then sat down to play with some of the stuff we had brought to occupy her.

By Monday night at the hospital Brooklynn was exhausted and fell asleep in my bed before John took her home to MeMom.

A big thank you to all who have been keeping up with us. It has been a very exciting and exhausting day. The pain is getting better. I have only had to take Motrin today and none of the Percocet they gave me. I am just taking it slow and easy. Both girls have a doctor's appt tomorrow morning (Isabella has her hospital follow up and Brooklynn has a recheck on her ears) so that means tomorrow will be the first time I have to get up and get my family of four up, ready and out the door by a certain time!

Also, a giant thank you to MeMom! You have been such a big help doing all the little things selflessly as always. You have no idea how grateful I am to have you as my mom. I know that Isabella will love her MeMom just as much as Brooklynn does because you care about all the little things just as much as the big things. thank you for being my photographer so that I can be in the moment with my family and still have all those memories document for later. I love you all the way past Pluto and back (even though it isn't a planet it is still the farthest away!

Thank you so much for sharing those beautiful pictures! Both girls are too darling.... does Isabella look like Brooklynn did as a baby?

Continued good luck and prayers... especially to get everyone out the door tomorrow, it will get easier I promise. Glad that you got so much sleep last night too- having a good sleeper is so wonderful!

Oh Jill! Those pictures gave me goosebumps! :goodvibes That first family picture of the 4 of you is adorable. I know that will be a precious picture forever and always. Bella is adorable and Brookie is such a cute big sister. Looks like Bella wore her out too, haha, from that picture of her sleeping.

Wow I love the pics, especially your first family of 4 portrait. :goodvibes

I'm also amazed at how much Brooklynn has grown since we started reading your reports. Hopefully one day we will get to meet in person.

Congratulations on your newest little princess!! What a doll she is - you have an absolutely beautiful family :lovestruc

MeMom - what a great Mom and Grandma you are :cheer2: We should all be blessed to have someone as sweet and kind as you are in our families .

The pictures were wonderful.

May God be with you, because you have been truely blessed with two beautiful princesses.

Isabella is just adorable. :lovestruc Thank you so much for sharing pictures.
Brooklynn looks so adorable sleeping in your hospital bed! :goodvibes

in the one pic of isabella it almost looks like she is smiling already! She must be excited about her first disney trip!
